TURKISH SHIPYARD AVA YACHTS TO PRESENT WORLD PREMIERE OF KANDO 85 EXPLORER YACHT M/Y V AT CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL AND MONACO YACHT SHOW

AvA Yachts, the founder-led Turkish builder of long-range explorer yachts, will present the world premiere of M/Y V, the first hull in its new Kando 85 series at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September 2026. The yacht will subsequently appear at the Monaco Yacht Show from 23 to 26 September 2026.

Designed and constructed entirely at the company’s facility in the Antalya Free Trade Zone, M/Y V was delivered to her owner in July 2026. Her appearances at Cannes and Monaco will mark the first time a Turkish-built explorer superyacht in this class has been presented consecutively at two of the Mediterranean’s most prestigious yacht shows.

The Kando 85 introduces the defining characteristics of AvA Yachts’ larger Kando modelsincluding a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and transoceanic range to a yacht engineered below the 24-metre load line threshold.

Measuring 25.70 metres overall, M/Y V features four full decks and approximately 200 GT of interior volume. This high-volume configuration, a hallmark of the Kando range provides levels of space and comfort typically associated with considerably larger yachts.

During sea trials off Antalya, M/Y V achieved a range of more than 5,000 nautical miles at 9 knots. At passage speed, her estimated range extends to approximately 12,000 nautical miles, enabling a Mediterranean to Caribbean crossing on a single 24,000-litre fuel load.

Measurable Comfort and Owner-Focused Design comfort aboard M/Y V is supported by independently verified data. Testing conducted by an ISO-accredited laboratory recorded approximately 50 dBA in the owner’s cabin at cruising speed comparable to the sound level of a quiet library. Vibration throughout the accommodation areas was measured below the threshold of human perception.

The yacht accommodates up to nine guests across four cabins. Her full-beam owner’s suite is positioned on the main deck and features panoramic windows, while the exterior spaces include a foredeck Jacuzzi and expansive areas for relaxation and entertaining.

Zero-speed fin stabilisers and dual Starlink connectivity are included as standard. With a load-line length of 23.90 metres, M/Y V has been engineered to offer flexibility in how she is operated. Subject to applicable flag-state regulations, she may be owner-operated without a permanent professional crew. Dedicated quarters for two to three crew members are also provided for owners who prefer a fully serviced experience.

A Growing Fleet M/Y V is the third superyacht delivered by AvA Yachts, following the 33.5-metre Kando 110 yachts M/Y Lady Caroline, delivered in 2019, and M/Y Infinity Nine, delivered in 2021. M/Y Infinity Nine holds the Yacht Club de Monaco’s SEA Index certification for environmental efficiency.

Four yachts are currently under construction at the company’s Antalya shipyard: M/Y Helene, the third Kando 110, contracted for delivery to her owner in 2027 Kando 85 Hull No. 2, the sister yacht to M/Y V, currently available for sale with delivery in approximately 18 months The first two hulls in the all-aluminium, three-deck Voyage 90 series, both available with estimated delivery times of approximately 10 to 14 months.
