DELTA MARINE’S ZEMBRA LAUNCHES AT SEATTLE SHIPYARD

Built for global exploration, Delta Marine’s newest superyacht Zembra has been launched from the shipbuilder’s Seattle facility. The 152-foot full-displacement motor yacht now enters the final stages of outfitting ahead of delivery.

Designed for extended voyages to remote destinations, Zembra combines refined styling with formidable expedition capabilities. Her distinctive metallic Arizona bronze exterior, expansive glazing, crisp angular lines and purposeful profile reflect the Owners’ vision for a yacht equally suited to sophisticated cruising and adventurous exploration.

“Zembra isn’t just a yacht. It’s how we will share many incredible places we’ve explored that are only accessible by yacht with our grandchildren and dear friends,” says the Owner. “Getting to experience these places again through their eyes and exploring many new ones is the goal of Zembra.”

Developed through close collaboration between Delta Marine and the Owners, Zembra has been equipped to support experiences on, beneath, and beyond the water. Her extensive collection of expedition equipment includes a dedicated helicopter landing area, a two-person ICON A5 amphibious aircraft, a FunAir slide, two Jet Skis, and a three-passenger U-Boat Worx submersible. A Williams Jet Tender and a comprehensive selection of water toys are stored entirely inboard, preserving the yacht’s streamlined exterior profile.

Award-winning designer Roger Thomas created Zembra’s interiors, drawing on his extensive experience in luxury hospitality to establish an atmosphere that is both intimate and sophisticated. Stainless-steel accents, custom cerused-oak finishes, and boldly patterned carpets introduce color and character throughout the transitional-style interior.

The thoughtfully planned accommodations include a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck and four spacious guest cabins below, one of which is wheelchair accessible. A flexible fitness room fitted with two Pullman berths can also be converted into an additional stateroom. Every element of the layout has been carefully considered to promote comfort, wellness, and effortless living during extended voyages.

An elevator connects all decks, providing guests and crew with convenient access to Zembra’s indoor and outdoor spaces. The sundeck offers generous areas for relaxation and panoramic views, complemented by a hot tub for unwinding after a day of adventure. On the bridge deck, a large outdoor dining table provides an inviting setting for alfresco meals and social gatherings.

Zembra features a composite hull, twin Caterpillar engines, and zero-speed stabilizers to deliver a smooth and stable cruising experience. A 3,500-pound safe working load boom crane on the bridge deck and a 10,000-pound safe working load stern gantry crane enable the safe and efficient deployment of her extensive expedition equipment.

Engineered to travel safely and efficiently throughout the world, Zembra can accommodate up to 12 guests and a crew of 10. Following delivery, she will be available for charter through Northrop & Johnson, offering guests the opportunity to experience one of Delta Marine’s newest yachts and the adventurous expedition lifestyle for which she was created.
