WHERE SOFT MINIMALISM MEETS SUSTAINABILITY: LATEST NOMAD 101 HITS THE WATER
Gulf Craft has marked another significant milestone with the successful launch of its latest Nomad 101 superyacht at the company’s Umm Al Quwain shipyard. The 30-metre tri-deck yacht has emerged from the shipyard and entered the water for the first time, marking an important step towards its completion and delivery.

Featuring refreshed interior and exterior styling by Phathom Design, the latest Nomad 101 introduces a refined approach to contemporary luxury yachting. The updated design places emphasis on spacious living areas, expansive outdoor spaces and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor environments, creating an exceptional onboard experience.
Inspired by Phathom Studio’s philosophy of soft minimalism, the yacht combines understated architectural elegance with natural warmth, refined textures and exceptional comfort. Clean lines, abundant natural light and thoughtfully considered proportions contribute to an inviting atmosphere that balances modern sophistication with a sense of tranquillity.

Sustainability is also a defining element of the yacht’s updated interior, with a carefully curated selection of materials chosen for their durability, environmental impact and long-term performance.
Highlighting the sustainable design approach, Raquel H. Grijota, Design Partner at Phathom Studio, commented:
“The interior of the new hull incorporates natural and renewable fibres including flax, hemp and bamboo, bio-based vegan leather, reclaimed wood flooring and carpets made from recycled fishing nets. Recycled materials also feature in the composite stone surfaces, while non-toxic and bio-based lacquer is used across the interior.”

These considered material choices reflect a commitment to integrating responsible design practices with contemporary luxury, demonstrating how sustainability and sophisticated craftsmanship can complement one another.
With the yacht now successfully afloat, the latest Nomad 101 enters the next phase of construction, including final outfitting, finishing and commissioning. Upon completion and delivery, the superyacht will offer its owners a refined retreat on the water, where innovative design, comfort and sustainability come together to redefine the modern yachting experience.
