Mike Horn’s upcoming expedition, named “What’s Left“, will be carried out onboard Pangaea – a sailing explorer yacht freshly refitted by Sunreef Yachts. The aim of the expedition is to return to selected destinations after 50 years to assess the impact of environmental changes in these areas.
The journey will begin with a trip to the Greenland and Arctic, followed by visits to the Amazon, Patagonia and Antarctica. Exploring North Siberia and Alaska will allow the team to complete comprehensive global research.
The refit of Pangaea aimed at making the yacht safer and more comfortable. The refit included the addition of two double cabins, interior renovation, lighting, soundproofing and enhancing the energy efficiency on board.
