The Luminor Luna Rossa Carbotech will be made available only for 24 hours on 30th November 2023, in a limited 37 pieces to mark the prestigious sailing competition’s 37thedition. Set in a 44mm Carbotech case, the watch features a blue sun-brushed dial with a grey small second’s counter and red small seconds hand, inspired by the official color-codes of Luna Rossa.
Patented by Panerai, the structure of Carbotech™ is designed to enhance both the aesthetics and the performance of the material where thin sheets of carbon fibres are compressed at a controlled temperature under high pressure together with a high-end polymer, PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone), which binds the composite material, making it stronger and more durable.
Powered by the automatic P.9010 calibre with a three-day power reserve, the watch comes with a bi-material strap with a rubber strip that bears the emblematic ‘Luna Rossa. Equipped with the straps can be easily swapped to create looks for different moods and styles.
