SUNSEEKER INTERNATIONAL LAUNCHES ‘SUNSEEKER EUROPE’ TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR DISTRIUTION, SERVICE AND WARRANTY IN EUROPE
Sunseeker International has announced the launch of Sunseeker Europe, a new operation that will take responsibility for distribution, service and warranty support across European and international territories previously managed by independent distributors Sunseeker London and Sunseeker Poole (SSL).
The announcement follows news that SSL has submitted notices of intention to appoint an administrator. As a result, SSL will no longer operate as Sunseeker International’s European distributor.
Sunseeker International has confirmed that production at its facilities in Dorset continues as normal, with no disruption to existing customer orders or yachts currently under construction.
Customers with yachts in build or on order will continue to receive full support throughout the construction, delivery and handover process. Existing Sunseeker owners will also continue to benefit from uninterrupted servicing, aftersales assistance and warranty support directly from the Sunseeker team.
Operating from Sunseeker International’s facilities in Dorset, Sunseeker Europe represents a significant step towards strengthening the shipyard’s direct relationship with its customers. The new operation is designed to provide a seamless ownership experience while maintaining the high standards of service, technical expertise and support associated with the Sunseeker brand.
Commenting on the launch, newly appointed Chief Commercial Officer Andy Gawthorpe said the move would bring customers closer to the heart of the Sunseeker brand, creating stronger relationships and a more connected ownership experience.
By assuming direct responsibility for these markets, Sunseeker aims to give owners greater access to the teams responsible for designing, engineering and building its yachts, while further strengthening customer support throughout the ownership journey.
Sunseeker International has also clarified that Sunseeker London and Sunseeker Poole are separate legal entities from Sunseeker International, the manufacturer of Sunseeker yachts. The notices concerning SSL relate solely to those entities and do not affect Sunseeker International’s operations, production or financial position.
