SUNREEF YACHTS AND BRABUS UNVEIL THE BRABUS ULTIMA 55
Sunreef Yachts and BRABUS have unveiled the BRABUS ULTIMA 55, a new 55-foot high-performance luxury catamaran that blends advanced naval engineering with BRABUS’ signature design language.

Equipped with twin six-cylinder engines producing 533 kW (725 hp) each, the BRABUS ULTIMA 55 delivers speeds of more than 40 knots. The yacht pairs an innovative multihull platform with a sophisticated hydrofoil system designed to reduce drag, enhance stability and provide a smoother, more efficient ride.
The catamaran features an extensive carbon-fiber exterior package, configurable bow and aft deck spaces, a fully equipped saloon with a bespoke BRABUS Masterpiece leather interior, and flexible accommodation layouts for up to six guests.

As the first model born from the collaboration between Sunreef Yachts and BRABUS, the BRABUS ULTIMA 55 measures 55.8 feet (17 meters) in length with an 18.4-foot (5.6-meter) beam. It combines the spaciousness and stability of a catamaran with the agility and dynamic performance typically associated with modern monohull yachts.
“The BRABUS ULTIMA 55 is fast, bold and truly unique. The moment she lifts above the water, you feel the difference. The ride becomes smoother, quieter and incredibly enjoyable. It’s a yacht that lets you leave everyday life behind and make the most of every moment at sea,” said Francis Lapp, Founder and CEO of Sunreef Yachts.

Constantin Buschmann, CEO and owner of BRABUS, added: “Together with Sunreef Yachts, we are expanding our growing Marine portfolio into a completely new category with a product that feels unmistakably BRABUS. We asked ourselves what a modern high-performance luxury catamaran should look and feel like. The BRABUS ULTIMA 55 is our answer: a design with a clear identity, outstanding performance, uncompromising quality and what we call the One Second Wow.”
Performance is driven by twin six-cylinder engines delivering a combined output of 1,450 hp, allowing the catamaran to exceed 40 knots. Its advanced hydrofoil system lifts the hulls higher above the water to minimize drag while virtually eliminating heel. This technology improves efficiency, increases stability and creates an exceptionally smooth ride that gives the sensation of flying across the water.

The exterior is distinguished by a range of exclusive carbon-fiber components, available with a “Graphite Black” finish or an optional “Phantom Grey” color scheme. Exposed carbon-fiber front and rear wings, illuminated BRABUS logo pillars, side ventilation trims, a custom roof rack and integrated LED roof lights reinforce the yacht’s distinctive styling. Exterior upholstery is offered in BRABUS Graphite, BRABUS Red or BRABUS Pearl.
Designed to maximize outdoor living, the aft deck serves as the yacht’s primary entertainment area. Folding side platforms extend the beam from 18.4 feet (5.6 meters) to 24.9 feet (7.6 meters), creating a significantly larger waterside lounge. The deck is finished in durable Esthec material, providing excellent grip and low-maintenance performance.

Large transformer sunpads can be converted into comfortable seating, while an extendable carbon-fiber table adapts for dining or social gatherings. The aft deck also incorporates an electric barbecue grill, wet bar and integrated storage for entertaining. At the bow, an additional oversized sunpad offers a separate relaxation space.
Inside, the saloon reflects the design philosophy of BRABUS supercars. Premium surfaces, sofas and seating are finished in BRABUS “Moonstone” Masterpiece leather with the brand’s signature Triangle stitching, while Alcantara headlining and exposed carbon-fiber accents highlight the yacht’s sporty character. Carbon-fiber detailing is also featured throughout the helm station and trim elements.

The interior is further enhanced with aluminum floor accents, illuminated BRABUS logos and customizable ambient lighting. At the helm, a widescreen navigation and control display integrates navigation, vessel monitoring and onboard systems into a single interface featuring a dedicated BRABUS user experience.
The fully equipped galley includes an induction cooktop, electric oven, sink, refrigerators, ice makers and ample storage, allowing meals to be prepared without interrupting the main social area. A 43-inch television is concealed within the countertop and rises electronically when needed before retracting out of sight. Adjustable tables provide flexibility for dining or entertaining, while a premium Bowers & Wilkins Marine Series sound system completes the onboard experience.

The BRABUS ULTIMA 55 is offered in two accommodation configurations. The standard layout includes a master suite, a VIP stateroom and a crew cabin, accommodating four guests and one crew member. An alternative arrangement features three guest cabins alongside a crew cabin, increasing guest capacity to six. Contemporary wood veneers, carbon-fiber detailing and refined finishes create elegant interiors designed for comfortable extended cruising.
