SPECIAL JURY AWARD FOR AZIMUT GRANDE 44M AT THE INNOVATION ROUTE AWARDS IN CANNES
Azimut’s new flagship, Grande 44M, made a landmark debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, receiving the Special Jury Award at the Innovation Route Awards one of the French boat show’s most prestigious recognitions, celebrating the most significant and visionary innovations in international yachting.
In its assessment, the jury highlighted not only the excellence of the yacht’s design and engineering, but also Grande 44M’s ability to bring together a series of tangible, forward-thinking innovations within a single yacht. Particular emphasis was placed on the vessel’s efficiency-driven technologies and its significant reduction in fuel consumption for a yacht of its size.

The award recognises a technological and design philosophy that, in the words of the jury, introduces “a new approach in the large-yacht segment.”
A New Dimension in Large-Yacht Design Grande 44M introduces a groundbreaking four-deck architecture, made possible by the extensive use of carbon fiber. By reducing the weight of the superstructure, this advanced construction technology enables greater onboard volumes and unprecedented spatial flexibility, including an entire Upper Deck dedicated to the Owner.
At the stern, the yacht’s Mezzanine Deck, featuring a Sea View Terrace and the innovative See-Through Pool, further strengthens the connection between the yacht and the sea. These elements transform the beach club into an immersive environment, creating a seamless dialogue between interior spaces, outdoor living and the surrounding marine landscape.

Advanced Technology for Greater Efficiency Grande 44M incorporates a suite of cutting-edge technologies designed to enhance both efficiency and onboard comfort.
The carbon Hull Vane® foil reduces hydrodynamic drag and pitch, while the Dual Mode hull is engineered to optimise efficiency, stability and comfort across the yacht’s full speed range. Complementing these solutions, approximately 30 m² of solar panels contribute to the yacht’s hotel-load energy requirements.
The yacht also features a Mild Hybrid system, supported by a battery room with a capacity of up to 230 kWh. The system enables extended periods of silent, zero-emission operation while at anchor, significantly enhancing the onboard experience and redefining the standards of comfort and efficiency in its category.
A Flagship for Azimut’s Low Emission Vision with CO₂ emissions reduced by up to 30% compared with yachts of a similar size, Grande 44M represents a significant milestone in Azimut’s ongoing commitment to reducing the environmental impact of yachting.

More than a new flagship, Grande 44M embodies the brand’s Low Emission Yacht philosophy, demonstrating how advanced materials, intelligent naval architecture, innovative propulsion technologies and design can work together to deliver a more efficient and responsible approach to life at sea.
With its combination of visionary architecture, advanced technology and measurable efficiency gains, Grande 44M stands as a manifesto of Azimut’s sustainable vision and a defining new chapter in the evolution of large-yacht design.
