A COOL, PERSONAL OASIS
On board a Cranchi yacht, design and technology are always at the service of comfort and well-being, including in terms of temperature. Here is a short summary of how life on board can be gratified by the refreshing presence of the water and a cool breeze.
The beauty of taking command of a yacht includes enjoying a fresh breeze as you gaze at the horizon. It is a pleasure that the person at the rudder can share with the other passengers thanks to the extra armchairs next to the captain’s seat. On the flybridge models, the flydeck can be enjoyed at any time of day, whatever the current “mission”: cruising, dining, enjoying an aperitif, or just relaxing.
This is also thanks to the futuristic t-top featured on the Settantotto 78, the Sessantasette 67 and the brand-new Sessantadue 62: their elegant, light structure lets air circulate freely, while a louvre system allows the rigid roof to be opened in just seconds to regulate light and shade as desired.
The full-width hard top which covers the central area of the A46 Luxury Tender has a very similar look, offering an area perfect for al-fresco enjoyment of all occasions for relaxation and fun during the day, sundowner time and meals. Natural ventilation is always ideal at the bow, as well. Cranchi’s models have their fully fledged lounge areas in this zone, which can be sheltered with sail shades.
Comfort is also guaranteed in the stern area, above all when designed as masterfully as the Sessantasette 67 Corsa. The cockpit of this yacht is equipped with two grand electrically opening windows which provide evocative interplays of light and shade and which, alongside the cooling vents integrated in the structure, help ventilate the space perfectly. The cockpit thus becomes the ideal place to cook, dine or simply relax and enjoy the dolce far niente.
Either on board the Sessantasette 67 Corsa or one of the three flybridge models, ventilation is also optimised in the indoor main deck spaces. Guaranteeing this is the large sliding glass door which provides perfect continuity between the indoor living area and outdoor cockpit, the large, fully opening side windows, the door on the side of the pilot station and the electrically opening upwind companionway. Thanks to all these openings, you may often find yourself forgetting to turn on the air conditioning!
There is then a critical area of natural coolness which any yacht can count on: the sea itself.
It is therefore worth going down to the stern beach area to relax and spend time literally with your feet in the water, thanks also to technical and design solutions which facilitate getting into and out of the water and make it easy to dock and launch tenders, water scooters and other toys. On larger models the pilot station is set up as a beach area with shower, integrated hi-fi speakers and space for chairs and chaises lounges.
