Vacheron Constantin – Overseas

Some watches are made to be worn on certain specific occasions, while others are suitable to any circumstances. The new Overseas is of the latter variety. Fitted with a strap that is easily interchangeable without any need for a tool, the collection now welcomes six all-steel or two-tone references with a pink gold bezel. Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, their Manufacture movements are a reminder that Fine Watchmaking itself adapts to each and every situation. The new models designed in a style combining elegance with a sporty look are just as ideal for evening wear as when travelling to the other side of the world.

All-steel versions

Two new steel references with a casual chic appeal are joining the Overseas collection. Available in a 37 mm diameter, they are fitted with blue or rosy beige dials. Powered by Manufacture Calibre 5300 driving central hours and minutes hands as well as small seconds at 9 o’clock, these new models provide a chance to enjoy variety by playing with the straps/bracelet featuring tool-free interchangeability, since each timepiece is delivered with a stainless steel bracelet accompanied by two additional straps in rubber and alligator leather respectively.

Stainless steel and pink gold versions

The Overseas collection also welcomes four new models with a steel case topped by 18K 5N pink gold bezel.

The chronograph offered in a 42.5 mm diameter is equipped with mechanical self-winding Manufacture Calibre 5200, and displays its functions on a translucent silver-toned lacquered dial. This model is fitted with a column wheel coordinating the chronograph start, stop and zero-reset functions, as well as a vertical coupling clutch preventing any jolting of the hand when the chronograph starts. The unmistakable signature of Vacheron Constantin chronographs, the column wheel is adorned with a screw shaped like the brand’s emblematic Maltese cross. This movement is equipped with a twin barrel enhancing its torque and reliability, while ensuring a more than 50-hour power reserve. The new-version Overseas chronograph will adapt seamlessly to various styles thanks to the two interchangeable (alligator and brown rubber) straps delivered with this model.

The second two-tone model focuses on essentials, displaying the hours, minutes, seconds and date on a translucent silver-toned lacquered dial. Housed in a 41 mm-diameter stainless steel and pink gold case, the Manufacture Calibre 5100 is Hallmark of Geneva certified, just like the other calibres powering these new Overseas timepieces. Worn with a dark brown alligator leather or rubber strap, this new variation will elegantly accompany its owner to the four corners of the earth.

Stainless steel and pink gold also adorn the two models featuring daintier 37 mm cases. One of these versions comes with an 18K 5N pink gold bezel lit up by 84 round-cut diamonds. Powered by the calibre 5300, these Overseas watches are delivered with two dark brown straps, one in alligator leather and the other in rubber. The result is a pleasing blend of casual chic charm and sophisticated refinement.
