TURQUOISE YACHTS DELIVERS 88M FLAGSHIP ANGELIQUE
The largest yacht ever built in Turkey is a showcase of capability and craftsmanship. Turquoise Yachts has announced the delivery of the 88m (288ft) Angelique, formerly known as NB74 Project Vento. Delivered from the shipyard’s facilities in Pendik, Istanbul, the flagship is the largest yacht built in Turkey to date, marking a milestone for Turquoise’s growing prominence in the 70m-plus sector.
“It is still difficult to fully grasp the sheer scale of the achievement of our team and valued solution partners,” says Burak Akgül, CEO of Turquoise Yachts. “As the second and largest of five custom yachts derived from our 80-metre platform, Angelique unequivocally marks a new standard of our ability.”
The latest chapter in a longstanding partnership with H2 Yacht Design, Angelique features both exterior and interior design by the studio. “I have worked with Turquoise for over 20 years, and the experience has always been one of cooperation and mutual respect,” says Jonny Horsfield, founder of H2 Yacht Design. “Over that time, I have seen Turquoise evolve and grow into a truly world-class operation, and Angelique is a credit to the yard and its determination to continually improve and learn.”

Angelique’s exterior is defined by balanced proportions and fluid lines, featuring a ‘Tour de France’ blue-inspired hull paired with a sculpted superstructure, punctuated by distinctive angled grilles and aft louvre detailing. At 2,646GT across five decks, her variety of exterior spaces prioritises versatility and flow.
The main deck aft provides a central social focal point, with a 6.5m glass-sided counterflow pool and low seating area. The owner’s deck aft is arranged around a bar and dining area that can be fully enclosed to create a winter garden. Forward, the owner’s terrace features a recessed seating area and jacuzzi, creating a more intimate and private retreat. A touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck also serves as a basketball court.
The bridge deck aft features another lounge and sunbathing area, acting as a seamless extension of the wellness amenities on this deck, while a dedicated area forward on the same deck provides an outdoor space for crew. The sun deck aft offers a large space with informal seating, outdoor cinema, large bar and outdoor kitchen with barbeque and teppanyaki grill. Forward, fixed sunpads encircle a jacuzzi.

The owner’s brief for the interior was influenced by the Art Deco-inspired design seen on board the 77m Go – another collaboration between Turquoise and H2. For Angelique, H2 evolved this into a contemporary scheme tailored to the owner’s tastes and lifestyle. Blue accents and rich detailing run throughout, from the statement bar in the main saloon to the suspended Dale Chihuly sculpture in the central stair atrium.
Local craftsmanship played a key role in bringing the interior to life, with Turquoise collaborating closely with longstanding partner Ulutas. Among the many standout details is the polished stainless steel detailing throughout, all of which was produced locally.
“It is the finest I have ever seen from any shipyard,” adds Horsfield. “The quality of the lacquer work is also world-class. Both are exceptionally difficult elements to execute well, yet Ulutas and Turquoise have achieved a truly exceptional finish. Their quality and attention to detail are second to none, and it is always a pleasure to collaborate with them.”

The expansive beach club, with folding side terraces and natural light flooding in from the skylights above, features a bar and seating area close to the water, as well as a massage room and drive-in tender dock for ultimate privacy. Interior stairs lead to the main saloon, where a bar area flows into circular seating and dining spaces.
The owner’s deck saloon provides another social space with a games table and cinema screen. The bridge deck is dedicated to wellness, featuring a fully equipped gym and spa, including a sauna, hammam and treatment room.
Guest accommodation comprises two VIP cabins and four guest cabins on the main deck, each with its own distinct character. The owner’s suite on the owner’s deck encompasses a lounge, breakfast table, his-and-hers dressing rooms, office and direct access to a private terrace.

Owner’s representation during the build was provided by Occam Marine, who praised the smooth build process. “The project was exceptionally well planned and supported,” says Giles Frankal, Co-Founder of Occam Marine. “The finished yacht is a true reflection of the quality, craftsmanship and design vision delivered by all involved. We are incredibly proud to have contributed to the largest yacht delivered by Turquoise to date.”
Angelique is available for charter through Robert Shepherd at Edmiston, joining the brokerage’s fleet as a standout new addition.
