SVP Yachts starts production after signing first 3 units of the new OceanClass 58
By now SVP Yachts is quite well known in marine media as one of the most active startup boat builders in the market. Since the acquisition of the production facilities in Slovenia in 2015 and Greenline Yachts, OceanClass Yachts brands as well as Shipman Carbon Yachts brand recently, they have launched three new models with three more in the pipeline.
One of those three there in the pipeline is OceanClass 58, making the Class A certified brand of yachts, OceanClass, a fleet.
“After a successful launch of the OceanClass 65 at Cannes Yachting Festival 2017 we immediately started receiving requests for a smaller version of an oceangoing motor yacht, preferably with the HDrive propulsion. We already signed the first order to a proud owner in Hong Kong with a special custome layout for the Asian market, launching at Boot Düsseldorf 2020”, commented Vladimir Zinchenko, CEO and founder of SVP YACHTS.
OceanClass Yachts are not your average motor yachts from mass production. They are created for yachtsmen with particular lifestyles who are considered to be the most demanding customers who value the freedom to be able go anywhere in the world safely and comfortably. “There are not many motor yachts in this size range that have the certificate A for oceangoing navigation on the market today and even though our customers don’t cross oceans every time they leave their marina, they do tend to spend a lot more time onboard and are more curious and adventurous which is why they chose the Oceanclass over a B class certified motor yacht from some other brand. It is a little bit like owning a big SUV car and rarely use it to drive it off road.” commented Mr. Luca Meffle, Head of Sales and Marketing.
Design
There aren’t many modern looking motor yachts with Class A certification for oceangoing navigation. Especially not in this size range. Among the luxury motor yachts with Class A certification, the new OceanClass 58 is by far the most modern and attractive looking yacht on the market today. She is adapted for high speed oceangoing navigation while ensuring the utmost comfort and quality of living onboard with signature features such as extra large hull windows for the master and VIP cabin as well as large 360 panoramic windows in the salon. One level living arrangement with a single step from the cockpit to the helm station and the largest flybridge in her class.

One of the nicest comfort features of the new 58 will be the bathing platform transformer from Opacmare which makes life onboard so much easier. The transformer is able to serve as a launching platform for your dhingy, makes access to the water extremely comfortable and safe, and it serves as the widest, most comfortable gangway with adaptable staircase to meet any angle of boarding.
Main deck offers the real experience of the one level living with cockpit, galley and the saloon including the helmsman’s position on the same level with only three steps to the bathing platform with staircases on both sides and three steps on sidewalks to the bow lounge area. The U-shaped galley is the connecting element between indoors and outdoors, designed for entertaining family and guests with magnificent view all around thanks to the large 360 panoramic saloon windows.
Below deck the 58 offers the luxurious 2-cabin layout with two walk-in wardrobes, or standard three cabin layout, all featuring en-suite bathrooms.
Flybridge is considered to be the largest in her class and perfect for those unforgettable yacht parties. Protected by a stylish T-top and featuring a U-shaped lounge area on the aft part, which can be transformed into an extra large sun bathing area, a fully equipped outside galley as well as a forward looking lounge for the family to keep the captain company during navigation.
