SILVERCAT UNVEILS SECOND-GENERATION POWER CATAMARANS, LED BY THE ALL-NEW SILVERCAT 47
SilverCat today unveiled the second generation of its power catamaran range, marking a bold new chapter for the brand with a stronger design identity and a fresh approach to onboard living.
Built with a wider beam-to-length ratio, the new generation offers more spacious interior and exterior social areas, giving owners and guests greater freedom to relax and spend time together on the water. A closer connection to the sea is now a defining feature of the SilverCat brand with outdoor entertainment spaces designed to bring guests nearer to the water and support a lifestyle centred on shared experiences.

The new line-up also introduces contemporary interiors featuring upgraded materials and refined finishes that are soft to the touch, visually striking and easy to maintain. Open-plan layouts and expansive panoramic glazing create bright, spacious environments designed for comfort and seamless indoor-outdoor living. The wider beam further enhances the stability and seaworthiness for which SilverCat is known while also improving range and cruising efficiency.
Introducing the SilverCat 47 the first model to embody this new generation is the all-new SilverCat 47, the latest addition to the brand’s Family Series and designed entirely in-house.
“With the SilverCat 47, our ambition was to redefine the modern power catamaran by combining contemporary yacht styling, intelligent space planning and premium craftsmanship,” said Cristiana Cassese, Product Marketing Specialist at SilverCat. “Every line, feature and material has been carefully developed to create a distinctive SilverCat identity one that delivers exceptional comfort, effortless entertaining and a truly luxurious ownership experience.”

With a 4.92-metre beam, the SilverCat 47 offers one of the largest aft entertainment areas in its class. Optional fold-down balconies extend the cockpit, creating a more immersive connection with the sea while an automatic swim ladder developed in-house provides convenient access to the water.
Owners can personalise the cockpit through a choice of flexible seating configurations while an extended hardtop provides generous shade when cruising. At the bow, a spacious entertainment lounge accommodates up to eight guests, creating a second shaded social area for relaxing at anchor or enjoying panoramic views while underway.
Inside, a wide-opening patio door seamlessly connects the cockpit and saloon, reinforcing the indoor-outdoor lifestyle at the heart of the new generation. Bright, open living spaces, configurable galley options and well-appointed accommodation combine practicality with comfort throughout.

Designed for family cruising, the SilverCat 47 features a twin-seat social helm with two companion seats, en-suite accommodation with abundant natural light and ventilation and a tropical HVAC package engineered to deliver reliable year-round performance in warmer climates.
The model also reflects SilverCat’s commitment to more sustainable boatbuilding through the use of an rPET foam core material manufactured from 100% recycled plastic. Compared with conventional SAN foam, the material significantly reduces CO₂ emissions during production while providing the strength and durability expected of a premium power catamaran.
