SAXDOR YACHTS BEGINS US PRODUCTION AS IT RETURNS TO FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
With manufacturing operations now underway in Florida, Saxdor Yachts strengthens its presence in the Americas through expanded production capabilities, a growing dealer network and an impressive lineup of innovative models.
Saxdor Yachts, now part of Malibu Boats Inc. (MBI), has announced a significant milestone in its North American expansion, with production of its yachts officially commencing in the United States. The development comes ahead of the brand’s return to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), taking place from 28 October to 1 November 2026.

The launch of US manufacturing operations marks an important step in Saxdor’s long-term growth strategy, reinforcing its commitment to one of the world’s most influential recreational boating markets.
Production has commenced at Malibu Boats Inc.’s facility in Fort Pierce, Florida, complementing Saxdor’s established manufacturing operations in Poland and Finland. The additional production capacity will enable the company to respond more efficiently to growing demand across the Americas while bringing manufacturing closer to its regional customers and partners.

The first US-built Saxdor 320 GTO has already been completed, with serial production now underway. Manufacturing of the Saxdor 270 GTO is expected to follow shortly, while additional models will progressively be introduced as operations expand.
Strengthening production and dealer networks across the Americas alongside its investment in local manufacturing, Saxdor Yachts continues to expand its sales and service infrastructure throughout the Americas.

Recent appointments of new partners in Canada, Argentina and the Caribbean reflect the company’s strategy to improve regional accessibility and strengthen customer support.
In the United States, Saxdor and MarineMax have agreed to extend the brand’s market coverage by introducing Malibu Boats Inc. dealers in territories not currently served by MarineMax, Saxdor’s long-standing US dealer.
The initiative is designed to enhance distribution capabilities, improve after-sales support and provide customers with greater access to Saxdor’s growing product portfolio.

Commenting on the company’s expansion, Don Smith, President of Sales for the Americas at Saxdor Yachts, said: “The Americas represent a key market for Saxdor, and we are continuing to invest in the foundations needed to support its long-term growth. With the first 320 GTO now completed and more models to follow, we are bringing our production closer to our US customers while continuing to invest in the dealer, service and product infrastructure needed to support our long-term ambitions in the region.”
Saxdor’s return to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will also highlight the continued evolution of its product portfolio, with six models on display in collaboration with MarineMax.

Among the highlights is the Saxdor 350 GTW, an updated evolution of the 340 GTWA, introducing a series of refinements aimed at enhancing onboard comfort, functionality and versatility.
The redesigned wheelhouse incorporates an improved sliding-door system, allowing both doors to retract fully and creating a more open connection between interior and exterior spaces.
Additional enhancements include an optional L-shaped sofa arrangement, new flooring material options, integrated air conditioning within a completely redesigned helm console, increased storage capacity and improvements to the bow cabin.

The Saxdor 350 GTW will also be available with twin Mercury Verado V10 engines, each delivering 350 hp, providing customers with an additional high-performance propulsion option.
The brand will also showcase its flagship Saxdor 460 GTC, making its Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show debut and demonstrating Saxdor’s approach to combining contemporary Scandinavian design with innovative engineering and versatile onboard living spaces.
Expanding the Saxdor 460 range Saxdor continues to advance its larger-yacht portfolio following the successful world debut of the Saxdor 460 GTS at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

The model is currently undergoing final testing, with preparations for serial production progressing ahead of its planned introduction to the American market in mid-2027.
Further additions are also in development, including an aft-cabin version of the Saxdor 460 GTC, which will introduce an alternative layout to the 460 platform and provide customers with greater flexibility in choosing a configuration suited to their boating lifestyle.
These developments reflect Saxdor’s commitment to expanding its offering while maintaining the performance, functionality and distinctive design that define the brand.
Advancing onboard technology and the ownership experience Technology remains a central pillar of Saxdor Yachts’ product development strategy, with the company continuing to integrate innovative solutions designed to improve safety, convenience and the overall boating experience.

One of the latest advancements is the introduction of Simrad® AutoCaptain™, an autonomous docking technology developed by Navico Group. The system reflects Saxdor’s focus on making boating more accessible and intuitive through advanced onboard assistance.
The company is also enhancing the digital ownership experience through Boat IQ, an AI-powered onboard companion integrated directly into the yacht’s multifunction displays.
Connected in real time to Saxdor AI, a knowledge platform developed in collaboration with Cadentia, Boat IQ is designed to provide owners with intelligent assistance and convenient access to relevant vessel information.

To complement these technological developments, Saxdor is collaborating with Navico Group on technical training programmes for regional service teams. These initiatives aim to equip local specialists with the expertise required to support advanced onboard systems, enabling more efficient maintenance and servicing across the American market.
A significant milestone in Saxdor’s US expansion Saxdor Yachts’ participation in the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show marks an important chapter in the company’s continued international growth.

With manufacturing now established in Florida, an expanding dealer and service network, new models entering the market and continued investment in advanced marine technology, the Finnish brand is reinforcing its position in the Americas.
The company’s integrated approach to manufacturing, distribution, product innovation and customer support demonstrates its commitment to building a sustainable long-term presence in the region.
