Riviera’s 6000 Sport Yacht – Middle East Premiere at the Dubai International Boat Show 2017

The stunning luxury motor yacht acclaimed internationally as The Ultimate Entertainer is set to make her Middle East Premiere when Riviera Australia – in partnership with SF Yachts – welcomes visitors to the Dubai International Boat Show from 28 February to 4 March 2017.

The very stylish Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht is certainly one of the most popular models created by Australia’s favourite and most-awarded luxury motor yacht builder – already some 75 new models have been purchased by luxury boating enthusiasts around the world.

The sleek and sophisticated Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht design has received high praise from respected international boating media as a high-performance blue-water vessel akin to a six-star luxury resort.

She is supremely comfortable with clever alfresco lifestyle features, ultramodern technology as well as palatial appointments, and her design flexibility is further evidence of Riviera’s commitment to being able to personalise a yacht for a wide range of boating pursuits and individual styles.

“The 6000 Sport Yacht features up to four luxurious staterooms, or three with either a lower lounge or the impressive ‘presidential design’ that provides an enlarged floor plan for the full-beam master suite, as well as three bathrooms and a convenient utility room or optional crew cabin,” said Riviera chairman and owner Rodney Longhurst.

“She boasts an impressive array of luxury living and entertaining features – hydraulic boarding platform, large open cockpit with BBQ centre and undercover seating and dining areas, electric sunroofs and fixed skylights in her spacious saloon and a colossal-sized sun pad on her forward deck,” he said.

“Her impressive sports-styled helm features the touch-screen Glass Cockpit navigation and systems monitoring as well as touch-screen CZone digital switching, and a joystick for superior handling and maneuvering in tight quarters. An additional joystick is located in her cockpit.”

Base power is the proven Volvo Penta D11-IPS950 propulsion system with twin diesel engines and IPS20 pod-drives (2 x 533kW/725hp) which offer impressive fuel efficiency, low noise levels, long cruising range and a high top-end speed.

77 Enclosed Flybridge – on display

Complementing her sleek lines, sweeping sheer and sports-inspired targa, Riviera’s 77 Enclosed Flybridge is a seriously long-range luxury motor yacht that was built to go offshore in superb style.

She boasts striking safety glass feature panels that visually link her contemporary, recessed hull windows to provide a sophisticated and smooth hull finish, an expansive cockpit and mezzanine that seamlessly connects with the aft gourmet galley and spacious saloon.

On the accommodation deck there are four large staterooms, including an immense full-beam master, along with four bathrooms and an optional, self-contained crew cabin.

“The state-of-the-art, fully enclosed flybridge features a forward helm while an external rear tournament station on the rear deck ensures clear cockpit observation when docking, or when the fishing action is underway,” said Mr Longhurst.

“An optional massive and lavish sun pad and casual dining/sitting area can be located on the foredeck, enhancing the 77’s luxury lifestyle and relaxation attributes even further.

“There is also upgraded air-conditioning throughout to cater to the extremely high temperatures of the Middle East and our owners really do appreciate the fact that all exposed structural areas have undergone additional heat-curing treatments so they can withstand the harsh climactic conditions of the region.”

The 77 Enclosed Flybridge is powered by twin MAN V12 shaft-drive engines (2 x 1900hp/1397kW) and, courtesy of the Quickshift gearboxes, owners have the choice to incorporate an Express Joystick System (EJS) that smoothly and simultaneously actuates and controls engines, transmissions, propellers and thrusters.
