exhibitors are able to apply to take part in the 62nd Genoa International Boat Show, organised by the Confindustria Nautica, the Italian Marine Industry Association, scheduled to take place in the Ligurian capital from 22nd to 27th September this year.

This global event always looks forward and never takes its eyes off the future. Preparations are already well underway for the 62nd edition, inspired by the Show’s unwavering consistency each year that draws on the tremendous amount of work at the heart of its planning.

The two most recent editions in 2020 and 2021 confirmed the Genoa International Boat Show’s pivotal role in the leisure boating industry as a targeted and effective organisational model, which meant it could take place in person and in full compliance with all health and safety rules and recommendations, allowing industry-leading exhibitors to interact directly with a large, competent and business-oriented audience.

Saverio Cecchi, President of the Italian Marine Industry Association and of its organising company I Saloni Nautici: “The 2021 edition of the Genoa International Boat Show confirmed its importance once again as a fixed point of reference for the boating sector, a cutting-edge example of practical and effective organisation, strength and resilience. A symbol for a country that is reacting, innovating and investing.

This year’s event will be able to count on the experience gained from all of the hard work put into organising the two previous editions, along with the technology and innovative solutions developed to optimise the layout and management. It will once again be both effective and practical in view of health and safety requirements, adapting to the market’s needs as an international meeting point and encouraging business development across the industry.”

The Genoa International Boat Show is an essential strategic tool for the leisure boating sector by putting Italian quality and know-how centre stage, the Genoa International Boat Show is the world’s established point of reference when it comes to showcasing the very best the Made-in-Italy brand has to offer. With the support of the Italian Trade Agency and serving quality exhibitors, industry professionals and the international press, the event is an essential strategic tool for the entire leisure boating sector.

Moreover, by 2023 the event’s location will also be completely remodelled: the Genoa eastern Waterfront project, designed by renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano, will give the area a brand-new layout that will be more functional and at the same time even more spectacular; a space dedicated entirely to the Genoa International Boat Show during its event days, further boosting the Show’s central role across Europe and the Mediterranean.

The layout: a multi-specialist Boat Show

The 62nd Genoa International Boat Show will continue its successful multi-specialist format, with services developed and tailored specifically to the five market segments the event itself represents: yachts and superyachts, sailing world, boating discovery, Tech trade and living the sea.
