New Bahamas Superyacht Series

Following the international success of the 70m (230′) mega yacht Numptia, Rossinavi has once again partnered with Axis Group Yacht Design to develop a new range of yachts for the US market: The Bahamas Series. This includes the 48m (158′) superyacht Bahamas 158, as well as the 40m (130′) motor yacht Bahamas 130, purposely designed for the Bahamas by Horacio Bozzo Design.
Motor yacht Bahamas 158 and superyacht Bahamas 130 have only 6 feet draft, with all the advantages of the shallow draft when sailing around the Caribbean islands.
Horacio Bozzo, the designer of the Bahamas superyacht concept, says: “Bahamas is a boutique-Superyacht Series with all the characteristics and capabilities to enjoy the Caribbean islands. I found inspiration in the exotic colors and relaxing shapes of the Bahamas islands and purposely designed this Series to enjoy that unique scenario.”
Federico Rossi, the COO of Rossinavi, says: “Our new Bahamas Concept is the result of an in-depth market research and our first commitment to the US market.” He also adds: “This series of yachts will be built with the highest European quality standards but with US technical specifications.”
The Bahamas Series has been conceived as a semi-custom yachts with a flexible platform with three different options of interior styles: “Coloniale”, “Classico” e “Moderno”. The Bahamas 158 yacht has clean and sleek exterior lines. A big infinite pool and a relaxing lounge area dominates the main deck aft area. Ample stairs give access to the swim platform and to the ocean through wide submersible steps. The main salon features deck to ceiling glass windows offering unobstructed views to the exterior.
The upper deck is totally dedicated to the Owner who has a Panoramic cabin forward with a private terrace and exterior Jacuzzi, out of sight of any guest or crew.
The 700 sqft (65m2) Flybridge accommodates the third pool on board and a comfortable lounge area with an open bar a day head and an open shower area.
The bridge is equipped with the innovative certified “paperless” mapping system “iChart” By Team Italia.
Luxury yacht Bahamas 158 is a tri-deck motoryacht in aluminium under 500 GT able to accommodate up to 10 guests and 9 crew plus the captain. Powered by two Caterpillar C32 ACERT’s engines she can achieve a top speed of 15.5 knots at half load with transpacific range.
The Bahamas Series is MCA LY3 and MLC compliant for luxury yacht charter. Rossinavi construction quality and philosophy leads the entire yacht project to include a strong “green thinking” approach. All latest shipyard launching has been awarded with Rina Green Stars.
The naval architecture and engineering of the Bahamas Series yachts is being developed by Axis Group Yacht Design.
