Moonen unveils brand-new Caribbean range

Timeless looks + Moonen quality = high resale value

Moonen Shipyards in the Netherlands has introduced the new Caribbean series of motoryachts. Leveraging on the success of its classic looking superyachts over the last two decades and offering a refreshingly modern twist, the Caribbean range combines a distinctive and timeless style with all the attributes that will ensure a high resale value. Six different designs have been unveiled, ranging from 85 to 126 feet.

Moonen Caribbean: The future of luxury yachting
Exuding that irreplaceable Moonen take on Dutch quality, each yacht in the new Caribbean range shares a number of other crucial characteristics. The contemporary yet non-aggressive exterior profile – you can instantly see that the Caribbean designs blend seamlessly into Moonen’s superyacht fleet – is sure to appeal to a broad public.

Moonen design and engineering
“The Caribbean series will have a real Moonen feel and retain the key elements that have made our classic range of superyachts such a success,” comments Emile Bilterijst. “Over the past thirteen years we have launched fifteen Moonen 84s, Moonen 94s, Moonen 97s and Moonen 99s. All have benefitted from a superior seakeeping performance, low fuel consumption, very low noise and vibration values, exquisite finishing, low operational costs and a high resale value. The Caribbean series will of course reflect Moonen’s rich experience in design and engineering, all within a fresh and dynamic new profile.”

Moonen quality control
As you would expect from the yard that recently launched the fully custom 42-metre Sofia (which has just received a Judges Commendation at the World Superyacht Awards) Moonen is offering many options for customising and adapting the interior and facilities of a Caribbean yacht. There are six models available: the 85’ Mariana, the 100’ Montserrat, the 105’ Matica, the 112’ Mustique, the 120 ‘Martinique and the 126’ Marquis. They are named after islands in the Caribbean, reflecting the fact that yachts in the series will primarily be used in warm climates.

Moonen after sales
All will benefit from Moonen’s stringent quality control as well as Moonen’s superior warranty terms and after-sales service. Offered at an unbeatable price-quality ratio, the Moonen Caribbean series may well be the future of luxury yachting.
