MENGİ YAY LAUNCHES M/Y CABANA!

Mengi Yay take great pride in completing this exceptional project and moving confidently into the delivery phase. Measuring 34.5 metres in length, M/Y Cabana features a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. The yacht was successfully launched on 31 May 2025 at our shipyard facilities in Tuzla, Istanbul.
As the first hull of the Atlante Classic 35 series, Cabana has been built on a semi-custom basis, in line with our shipyard’s philosophy. Both the exterior and interior design of the vessel were created by Paolo Dose of VYD Studio, based in Trieste. Naval architecture was undertaken by Giuseppe Arrabito of Arrabito Naval Architects, based in Livorno.
Project supervision and management were carried out by Fatih Dalkıran on behalf of the Turkish marine consultancy firm Antalyachts. M/Y Cabana was commissioned by an experienced Northern European client and represented by Mark Seaton throughout the build process.

“M/Y Cabana is one of the most distinctive results of our successful collaboration with VYD Studio. This new model clearly reflects our shipyard’s production capabilities and engineering expertise. As part of our vision to build yachts tailored to every sea and every need, we take great pride in fully meeting our client’s expectations. We strongly believe that our partnership with Atlante Yachts will continue for many more years to come.” Hüseyin Mengi, Chairman of the Board at Mengi Yay Yachting.
Paolo Dose, Lead Designer at VYD Studio, stated: “The launch of M/Y Cabana marks the culmination of a unique project brought to life through craftsmanship, engineering, and international collaboration. Initially conceived as a 33-metre concept under 300 GT, the project evolved through months of intensive development into a long-range explorer yacht boasting 330 GT of gross tonnage.

The design, engineering, and project management teams worked closely with Mengi Yay Yachting to realise the owner’s vision down to the finest detail. Atlante’s approach offers owners a customer-focused process that encourages active participation in the design journey. We are proud to have supported the owners at every stage of this build, and we will continue to provide assistance beyond delivery. We sincerely thank them for their trust and active involvement throughout the process.
We also extend our gratitude to the team at Mengi Yay Yachting. With the Atlante Classic 35 model, we achieved an ideal balance between length, beam, and volume at 330 GT. This harmony enabled a seamless integration of living spaces, exterior decks, and technical areas, both in function and in style.
The exterior design presents a contemporary interpretation of a full-displacement explorer yacht, while the interiors—created in collaboration with the owners—feature refined, modern tones, realised through high-quality Italian materials and fabrics. The result is a distinctive displacement yacht built to the highest standards, capable of standing alongside the world’s top shipyards.”

M/Y Cabana is expected to cruise the Mediterranean this summer. The second hull of the Atlante Classic 35 series has been listed for sale by Atlante Yachts and will be built by Mengi Yay Yachting. Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
With a gross tonnage of 330 GT, the Atlante Classic 35 measures 34.5 metres in length and 8.24 metres in beam. As a member of the Atlante series, it features five en suite cabins, generous storage areas, a beach club, and expansive deck spaces, offering a highly voluminous layout. Designed for long-range cruising with a range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles, the yacht stands out with its high-standard technical specifications.
