Lamborghini Veneno Roadster debuts

New Lamborghini Veneno Roadster made its public unveiling in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The €3.3 million Lamborghini Veneno Roadster has made its public debut in Abu Dhabi on the flight deck of the 240m Italian military aircraft carrier.

Limited to just nine models, the Veneno Roadster is powered by a mid-mounted 740bhp 6.5-litre V12 engine twinned with an ISR transmission. Power is sent to all four wheels, helping the Veneno Roadster hit 62mph in 2.9 seconds and continue on to a top speed of 220mph.Each of the nine clients who have order the roadster can individualize the colour of the Veneno to suit their personal preference.

“The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is one of the world’s most exclusive cars with the most extraordinary performance,” said Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Lamborghini, commenting on the event. “We are honoured that Lamborghini was chosen to represent the Italian car industry in the UAE, as a perfect example of iconic Italian super sports cars, and that we have the opportunity to show the Veneno Roadster for the first time in Abu Dhabi.”

Lamborghini also has plans to open a new showroom in Abu Dhabi, which they hope will boost sales.
