IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN AND QATAR DUTY FREE OPEN THE FIRST IWC POP-UP BOUTIQUE IN THE MIDDLE EAST AT HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN DOHA

Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen joined hands with Qatar Duty Free to officially open its first pop-up boutique in the Middle East at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. The pop-up boutique offers visitors a wide selection of timepieces from the illustrious brand and will be at Hamad International Airport until 26 January 2016, before it travels around the Middle East.

FIRST POP-UP BOUTIQUE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
The airport’s concept of hospitality provides visitors with a blend of luxury, sophistication and elegance. “We are extremely pleased to have opened IWC’s first ever pop-up boutique in the Middle East at a destination as exclusive as Hamad International Airport. We will have on display all the watch families of IWC Schaffhausen. Connoisseurs can select from the finest timepieces from the brand, which will be available at this pop-up boutique,” commented Luc Rochereau, IWC Schaffhausen Regional Brand Director.

Keith Hunter, Senior Vice President of Qatar Duty Free said: “At Qatar Duty Free, we like to offer an experience to our customers, not just a product, which means collaborating with suppliers to innovate and to inspire travellers, and continuously striving to create and deliver unique concepts while responding to customers’ desires and needs. Qatar Duty Free has built strong relationships with many of its suppliers, remaining open to innovation and encouraging collaboration, and our strong partnership with IWC Schaffhausen has enabled us to support them in this project. Offering our customers world-leading brands and select promotions such as this creates a vibrant and globally recognized retail environment at Hamad International Airport, enhancing Qatar Duty Free’s reputation as a world-class shopping hub.”

TRAVELLING IN THE REGION
The exclusive pop-up boutique boasts a unique ambience that invites guests to discover the universe of IWC Schaffhausen. Another exceptional highlight is that it is the first IWC boutique in the region to adopt the brand’s novel BTQ EVO concept. This concept features a new interior design, new materials and stylish display arrangements that offer visitors an incomparable and highly refined experience of Swiss haute horlogerie. The boutique will also travel around cities in the Middle East in early 2016 following its stay at Hamad International Airport.
