ISA YACHTS UNVEILS THE 86-METRE POSEIDON
The latest addition to the ISA Large Yacht Collection combines distinctive exterior styling, expansive living spaces and advanced engineering in an 86-metre superyacht designed by Enrico Gobbi – TEAM for Design.
ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, proudly unveils ISA Poseidon 86 metres, an ambitious new project joining the prestigious ISA Large Yacht Collection. Conceived for owners seeking the highest levels of exclusivity, sophistication and personalisation, the project combines a proven engineering platform with extensive design freedom, reinforcing the shipyard’s position in the large custom superyacht segment.

“With 14 ISA superyachts currently under construction, we are strengthening our presence at the very top end of the market, a segment in which we intend to continue investing decisively,” comments Giuseppe Palumbo, Sole Director of Palumbo Superyachts. “The 86-metre Poseidon embodies this direction: a project with a strong personality, developed on a solid engineering foundation, confirming our ability to offer increasingly sophisticated and distinctive custom solutions.”
Measuring 86 metres in overall length with a beam of 12.80 metres, ISA Poseidon is the result of a collaboration with renowned designer Enrico Gobbi – TEAM for Design, responsible for both exterior and interior design. Naval architecture has been developed in-house by the ISA Yachts technical department.

The project represents a contemporary interpretation of ISA Yachts’ distinctive design philosophy, bringing together timeless elegance, dynamic proportions and generous interior volumes. The result is a sleek and commanding silhouette that maintains a strong architectural identity while offering exceptional comfort and functionality.
A Distinctive Design Identity ISA Poseidon 86m is characterised by a high, gently curved bow that evokes the elegance of classic yacht design while introducing a distinctly contemporary aesthetic. The elongated forward section flows towards a superstructure positioned further aft, creating a streamlined and beautifully balanced profile.
A defining feature of the ISA brand, the signature arch has been carefully refined and slimmed down to integrate seamlessly with the yacht’s overall architecture. This sophisticated interpretation preserves the brand’s recognisable DNA while maximising glazing and panoramic views from the interiors.

The exterior design combines sculpted surfaces with softer geometries, creating a harmonious interplay of volumes that conveys movement and dynamism. Subtle references to high-performance sports cars are evident in the side air intakes and superstructure detailing, lending the yacht a distinctive sporting character without compromising its refined elegance.
Particular attention has been devoted to the stern, conceived as one of Poseidon’s most striking architectural elements. When opened, its innovative platforms reveal an expansive beach club, establishing an extraordinary connection between the yacht and the sea.

An Exceptional Beach Club and Wellness Experience designed to enhance the onboard lifestyle, the lower-deck beach club is a sophisticated sanctuary dedicated to relaxation, wellness and direct access to the water.
Fold-down side platforms significantly extend the usable outdoor space, creating a seamless transition between the interior and the surrounding marine environment. The beach club features an elegant sea-facing lounge, a bar and a glass-sided whirlpool tub, offering an exclusive setting for relaxation and socialising.
A striking passageway leads amidships to a dedicated wellness area, complete with a gym, sauna, steam room, treatment facilities and massage spaces. Two additional opening balconies further enhance the connection with the sea, allowing natural light and uninterrupted views to define the experience.

Spectacular Outdoor Living Across Multiple Decks outdoor living is central to the design of ISA Poseidon 86m, with a carefully considered arrangement of expansive terraces, swimming pools and entertainment areas distributed across several decks.
On the main deck, a spectacular T-shaped swimming pool forms the centrepiece of the aft outdoor area. Its innovative configuration incorporates both a whirlpool section and a larger swimming area, offering guests different ways to enjoy the water while maintaining a continuous visual connection with the sea.
The pool is also a defining architectural feature of the stern. Its glazed structure is framed by a sculptural element inspired by a sports car spoiler, creating a striking visual effect. After sunset, integrated lighting accentuates the transparency of the glass and the elegance of the surrounding geometry.

The generous aft decks are complemented by carefully designed bulwarks that minimise visual obstructions. Progressively slimmer deck profiles towards the stern further enhance the yacht’s sense of lightness, creating a succession of elegant terraces overlooking the water.
Inside, the main deck accommodates an expansive saloon incorporating a conversation area, cinema and formal dining space. The layout has been developed to ensure efficient separation between guest circulation and crew service routes, providing privacy and seamless onboard operations.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing and expansive windows throughout the yacht strengthen the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing natural light to illuminate the interiors while framing uninterrupted sea views.
An Entire Deck Dedicated to the Owner one of ISA Poseidon’s most exceptional features is its upper deck, entirely dedicated to the Owner, conceived as a private retreat offering outstanding space, comfort and exclusivity.

The Owner’s suite benefits from 360-degree glazing, creating a panoramic living environment with uninterrupted views of the surrounding seascape. The accommodation includes a private study, dressing room and an elegantly appointed bathroom featuring a double shower and bathtub.
Direct access from the suite leads to an expansive forward outdoor area, where a large longitudinal swimming pool is surrounded by generous sunbathing spaces. Designed to accommodate swimming as well as relaxation, the pool enjoys a privileged position towards the bow, ensuring exceptional privacy and spectacular views towards the horizon.
This versatile forward area can also function as a touch-and-go helipad, further enhancing the yacht’s operational flexibility.

Aft on the upper deck, an inviting indoor lounge opens onto an extensive outdoor entertainment area, complete with comfortable seating and a dining table accommodating up to 14 guests.
An Innovative Panoramic Sky Lounge the bridge deck introduces another distinctive architectural solution: an additional panoramic lounge of generous proportions, seamlessly integrated into the yacht’s profile without compromising the elegance and lightness of its silhouette.
Inspired by the aerodynamic design of a sports car cockpit, the sky lounge roof follows sleek, flowing lines that complement the yacht’s dynamic exterior styling.
This innovative space provides a third panoramic lounge and an outdoor Jacuzzi, creating an elevated setting for relaxation, entertaining and enjoying the surrounding views.

Flexible Accommodation and Bespoke Interiors reflecting ISA Yachts’ commitment to customisation, Poseidon offers two interior layout configurations designed to accommodate different ownership preferences.
Owners may choose between six or seven guest cabins, providing accommodation for up to 12 or 14 guests, respectively. Dedicated crew quarters accommodate 18 crew members in 10 cabins, supporting the highest standards of service and operational efficiency.
Throughout the yacht, the interior concept emphasises generous proportions, natural light and a fluid connection between living spaces, while allowing extensive opportunities for personalisation.
Advanced Engineering and Transoceanic Capability beyond its distinctive design, ISA Poseidon 86m is supported by a robust technical platform developed to deliver reliable performance, efficiency and long-range cruising capability.

The yacht features a high-strength steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with a full-load draught of 3.60 metres.
Propulsion is provided by twin MTU 16V4000M63L engines, each delivering 2,240 kW, enabling a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
At an economical speed of 12 knots, the yacht is expected to achieve an estimated range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles, making it well suited to extended voyages and transoceanic cruising.
Practicality and versatility are further enhanced by two dedicated garage areas. A forward garage accommodates a rescue tender and water toys, while an amidships garage can house a tender measuring up to 9.5 metres in length, in an alternative configuration replacing the gym.

Strengthening ISA Yachts’ Vision for the Future with the introduction of ISA Poseidon 86m, ISA Yachts further expands its Large Yacht Collection, reaffirming its expertise in the development and construction of sophisticated custom superyachts.
Combining an unmistakable design identity, advanced naval engineering and exceptional flexibility in layout and personalisation, Poseidon reflects the shipyard’s commitment to meeting the evolving expectations of discerning owners worldwide.
ISA Poseidon 86m represents a compelling new expression of the brand’s philosophy, creating distinctive superyachts where technical excellence, architectural innovation and the freedom of custom design come together.
