ISA AMARCORD 86 THE LUXURY OF BOUNDLESS LIVING
ISA Yachts, a Palumbo Superyachts brand, unveils the ISA Amarcord 86, the second interpretation of the new ISA Large Yacht Collection. The project demonstrates the shipyard’s ability to transform an established technical platform into distinctly individual yachts, each defined by its own personality, architecture and approach to life at sea.
Measuring 86 metres in overall length with a beam of 13.6 metres, the ISA Amarcord 86 expands the narrative of the Collection through a design centred on the onboard experience. Rather than simply increasing the dimensions of the Amarcord 82, the project presents an entirely different interpretation of the contemporary large yacht.
Each deck has been given a distinct identity, accompanying the owner and guests through different moments of the day and offering a carefully considered balance between connection with the sea, privacy, social interaction, wellbeing and entertainment.

Designed by Nuvolari Lenard, the ISA Amarcord 86 features a sleek and impeccably proportioned silhouette. The bold character of the hull is balanced by softer, more fluid superstructure volumes, while expansive glazing, sculpted hull openings and strong visual continuity between the decks reduce the yacht’s perceived mass and lend dynamism to its profile.
Above all, however, the Amarcord 86 reveals its distinctive personality through the organisation and architectural treatment of its spaces.
At the stern, a generous fixed swim platform establishes the first true living area in direct contact with the water. Two fold-down side balconies further extend the space, while the large beach club hatch creates an additional open-air area and provides natural shade across the platform when raised.

his level also accommodates a massage room and a light-filled, sea-view gym. Both are directly connected to the beach club and wellness area by a glazed passageway running through the engine room. This striking architectural feature transforms the yacht’s traditionally concealed technical heart into an integral part of the onboard experience.
A dramatic circular staircase, arranged around a panoramic glass lift, rises vertically through the decks and serves as one of the project’s defining architectural elements.
Amidships, an additional fold-down platform creates a second point of direct access to the sea, further strengthening the relationship between life on board and the surrounding environment.
On the Main Deck, the aft outdoor area is centred around a large panoramic swimming pool, which forms the cockpit’s principal visual focus. Its glass bottom allows natural light to filter into the deck below, establishing an evocative visual connection with the entrance to the beach club.

The pool is set within an expansive terrace divided into distinct lounge and social areas. Inside, the main saloon continues the design language of the exterior, creating a fluid and versatile environment that can adapt effortlessly to different occasions and moments throughout the day.
The interiors are characterised by generous volumes and a layout conceived for extended periods on board, while retaining the comfort, refinement and proportions of an elegant private residence.
Guest accommodation comprises five cabins, including a VIP suite, all with private bathrooms. An additional twin cabin is located on the Lower Deck. Occupying more than 100 square metres, the owner’s suite is positioned on the Upper Deck and has been conceived as a true private residence at sea.
As the journey continues to the Upper Deck, the yacht assumes a more intimate and secluded character, with spaces primarily dedicated to the owner and their family.
Forward, an elegant outdoor living area is arranged around a central pool flanked by two spacious lounges. Aft lies one of the Amarcord 86’s most remarkable features: an expansive, entirely open deck that can serve either as an exclusive private terrace or as a sophisticated venue for outdoor events and receptions.

The area is also equipped for touch-and-go operations by medium-sized helicopters, adding exceptional versatility to a space that can be configured according to the owner’s individual requirements.
The Bridge Deck expresses the yacht’s more convivial character. A further dining area opens onto an expansive outdoor lounge organised around an atmospheric central fire pit. Generous sofas and informal seating create an inviting setting for sunset gatherings and evening entertainment, transforming the stern into a lounge suspended above the sea.
The onboard journey culminates on the Sun Deck, conceived not simply as the yacht’s uppermost level but as a private destination in its own right.
A generous bar with a teppanyaki grill occupies a sheltered area, complemented by a forward swimming pool with sunpads and several panoramic lounges. This carefully orchestrated sequence of spaces allows the deck to be enjoyed throughout the day while maintaining exceptional levels of comfort and privacy.

Below deck, the crew quarters comprise 11 cabins accommodating up to 21 people, while the captain benefits from a dedicated double cabin on the Bridge Deck.
Through its sequence of distinct yet interconnected environments, the ISA Amarcord 86 offers a contemporary interpretation of the superyacht experience one in which architecture, functionality and style work in harmony to create a new dimension of life at sea.
With this second project, the ISA Large Yacht Collection clearly expresses its defining philosophy. Rather than offering a range of predefined models, the Collection provides a flexible design platform open to creativity and capable of generating profoundly different yachts, each developed around the owner’s personality, requirements and preferred way of experiencing the sea.

The Collection represents the natural evolution of Palumbo Superyachts’ extensive expertise in the large-yacht sector. The shipyard is currently constructing major ISA projects measuring up to 100 metres, building upon the experience gained through the delivery of the 80-metre Columbus Classic M/Y Dragon.
This wealth of design, engineering and construction expertise now forms the foundation of the ISA Large Yacht Collection. The ISA Amarcord 86 was therefore not conceived simply to be larger. It was created to offer more ways to experience the sea.
