INVICTUS UNVEILS ST550 DEEP HORIZON: THE LATEST EXPRESSION OF ATELIER INVICTUS, MAKING ITS WORLD DEBUT AT THE CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL 2026
The success of the Invictus ST550 and TT550 flagships has further strengthened the brand’s position in the international premium yachting segment. According to Rosario Alcaro, CEO of Aschenez Group which also includes the Capoforte and Marcopolo brands this achievement marks the beginning of a new phase in the evolution of Invictus’ offering. This development is being driven by Atelier Invictus and its ability to create increasingly sophisticated and distinctive customisation solutions.
This evolution has led to the creation of the Invictus ST550 Deep Horizon, an exclusive interpretation developed by Atelier Invictus that will make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.

The project reimagines the ST550 through a vision centred on materials, light and the relationship with the sea. It also expands the yacht’s customisation possibilities through tailor-made aesthetic and functional solutions.
Atelier Invictus and Fabio Rotella: Exploring Materials, Light and Aesthetic Identity for the development of the concept, Atelier Invictus collaborated with designer Fabio Rotella on an extensive design research process focused on materials, finishes and the aesthetic identity of the new edition.
The collaboration represents the continuation of a creative journey that began with the TT460 Shell Edition. It reflects a shared ambition to combine a contemporary design approach with Atelier Invictus’ expertise in developing bespoke materials, exclusive colour palettes, artisanal finishes and distinctive details.

Fabio Rotella explains the philosophy behind the project: “I have always considered the yacht one of the most authentic ways to experience our relationship with nature. I do not see it simply as an extension of our living spaces, but as a living organism capable of interacting with water, wind and light. This vision guided a design research process focused on an essential form of luxury one that celebrates materials, light and the relationship with the sea.”
This vision is expressed through the concept of “quiet luxury”: a refined interpretation of luxury that removes excess to emphasise proportions, materials and spatial quality.
For Rotella, the onboard experience should engage all the senses. Natural colours and balanced palettes appeal to the eye, while authentic surfaces and refined materials create a rich tactile experience. Together, these elements establish a continuous dialogue between design, nature and wellbeing.
At the centre of this creative philosophy is Atelier Invictus, the shipyard’s design laboratory, where design, material research, craftsmanship and technical expertise converge to transform each concept into a unique expression of Invictus’ identity and design culture.

“Atelier Invictus is organised into specialist areas dedicated to both aesthetic customisation and technical solutions,” explains Paolo Avellone, Head of Atelier Invictus. “Professionals with experience in fashion and industrial design collaborate with our team to develop increasingly innovative solutions. With the ST550 Deep Horizon, we wanted to offer a new interpretation of one of our most representative models a project that preserves Invictus’ distinctive character while elevating it through refined materials, dedicated finishes and an even greater level of customisation.”
Invictus ST550 Deep Horizon: A Sensory Experience of Materials, Light and the Sea the ST550 Deep Horizon is the result of a design exploration centred on materials and inspired by the horizon. The project interprets the sea not simply as a setting, but as a defining element of the onboard experience.
“The project is the result of a research process focused on simplicity, elegance and authenticity, expressed through natural materials, refined surfaces and a contemporary aesthetic language,” explains Fabio Rotella.

Natural woods, tactile surfaces and exclusive fabrics developed specifically for this interpretation define refined, timeless interiors. Light plays a central role in the design, accentuating textures and materials, enhancing the perception of space and accompanying the changing atmosphere throughout the day.
The bathrooms have been conceived as distinctive architectural features and finished with precious materials. Silk Georgette in the guest bathroom and Portoro Gold in the owner’s bathroom reflect Atelier Invictus’ continuous exploration of sophisticated surfaces and artisanal craftsmanship.
The same design philosophy extends to the exterior spaces, which have been conceived as a natural continuation of the interiors. High-performance technical fabrics, developed exclusively for the project and enhanced with original patterns, establish a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor areas while reinforcing the yacht’s distinctive identity.

Measuring 16.87 metres in length and 5.04 metres across the beam, the Invictus ST550 embodies the shipyard’s design philosophy. The “S” in its name represents “Space”, reflected in the yacht’s generous volumes, fluid connections between interior and exterior areas and strong relationship with the sea. These qualities are complemented by unmistakable Invictus design features, including the brand’s signature semi-reverse bow.
Material Innovation: The Signature of Atelier Invictus research into bespoke materials, finishes and components is one of the defining elements of Atelier Invictus’ design philosophy.
“The collaboration with Fabio Rotella provided important inspiration for the development of new solutions capable of enhancing the identity of this edition. Atelier Invictus’ role was to translate this research into tangible design elements by selecting materials, finishes and components that fully reflect the shipyard’s vision,” explains Paolo Avellone.
In today’s yachting industry, the ability to create truly distinctive configurations has become increasingly valuable. Invictus has therefore invested in the development of dedicated materials, fabrics and onboard solutions, working closely with specialist partners to create elements conceived exclusively for the brand.
While preserving key features of the Invictus design language including the signature buckles on the backrests the fabrics and leathers have been developed in exclusive configurations and subtly enhanced with the Invictus logo.
The same attention to detail extends throughout the interiors. Alongside a selection of natural stones, the bathrooms feature bespoke fittings, including anthracite finishes created specifically for the ST550 Deep Horizon.

Particular consideration has also been given to the lighting design, which enhances the transition between spaces and creates soft, welcoming atmospheres throughout the interiors, including the lower deck.
“The hull and deck colours were also defined through a meticulous aesthetic research process,” adds Paolo Avellone. “For the ST550 Deep Horizon, we selected a cool-grey hull contrasted by a pearlescent-white deck.”
World Premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 the Invictus ST550 Deep Horizon will make its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place from 8 to 13 September 2026. The yacht will be displayed at the Invictus Yacht stand in the Vieux Port, PAN 224-015.

Alongside the ST550 Deep Horizon, the shipyard will showcase four additional models from its range: the Invictus TT550, TT460, TT420 and GT320.
The new model will subsequently be presented at the Genoa International Boat Show, taking place from 1 to 6 October 2026 at the Invictus Yacht stand on Banchina B, Stand A22.
With the ST550 Deep Horizon, Invictus further strengthens Atelier Invictus’ role as a creative hub where design research, craftsmanship and technical expertise converge to create truly individual yachting experiences.
This new edition embodies the shipyard’s vision: to create a yacht that combines a distinctive identity, timeless elegance and extensive personalisation possibilities transforming every moment on board into a new way of experiencing the sea.
