A Milanese house after dark. Rooms revealed one after another, like fragments of a private story. On the occasion of MILANO DESIGN WEEK 2026, ELIE SAAB Maison unveils “The Milanese House. Una notte a Milano.” an immersive and emotional journey where design feels personal, refined, and naturally part of everyday life.
Inspired by the elegance and intimacy of a Milanese apartment, the concept blends Mediterranean warmth with Milanese sophistication, rooted in Italian craftsmanship and enriched by textures, light, and a relaxed yet elevated way of living. At its core, the Mascagni Sofa stands out with its distinctive plissé effect, expressing a sculptural softness shaped by precision and artisanal expertise. Alongside it, the Onda Armchair, defined by its enveloping form and refined metal base, balances fluidity and structure with understated elegance.
Under the creative direction of Carlo Colombo, the collection reflects Elie Saab’s way of living and the places that shaped his eye, interpreted through a cinematic lens, inspired by the stillness of 1970s Italian cinema and a quiet, timeless sensuality.
The Milanese House transforms the showroom into a narrative space where architecture sound, art, and design converge.
