ELIE SAAB MAISON UNVEILS “THE MILANESE HOUSE – UNA NOTTE A MILANO” AT MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2026
In occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, ELIE SAAB Maison unveils its 2026 collection through The Milanese House – Una Notte a Milano, an immersive installation inspired by the cinematic language of 1970s Milan.
A Milanese home after dark. Not observed, but sensed. A sequence of rooms unfolding like fragments of a private story, where design is not displayed, but lived.
Designed under the creative direction of Arch. Carlo Colombo and in close collaboration with Mr. Elie Saab, the collection reflects a vision of living where architecture and intimacy coexist. Rooted in Italian craftsmanship and enriched by Mediterranean sensibility, the narrative blends structure and softness precision and sensuality, in a cinematic interpretation of contemporary living inspired by 1970s Milan.

The installation is imagined as a home rather than an exhibition, where each room reveals a scene shaped by light, sound, and atmosphere, creating a subtle yet powerful sensory journey.
“For me, an interior must tell a story. It must create emotion through light, materials, and atmosphere. With this collection, I wanted to translate that vision into pieces that bring together glamour, warmth, and a subtle baroque sensibility, while remaining timeless. Each element contributes to a complete and expressive way of living, where every piece stands as a true masterpiece,” says Mr. Elie Saab.
“The collection is developed as a dialogue between form and function, where each piece carries a strong identity while integrating within the overall space. From modular systems to statement elements, the focus was on creating versatile compositions with a refined and coherent language. Materials, proportions, and craftsmanship define each object, giving every piece both presence and purpose,” adds Carlo Colombo.

The ELIE SAAB Maison collection evolves as a continuous and coherent universe, where each new introduction builds upon an established design language, enriching the offering while maintaining a distinct and recognizable identity.
Among the key pieces, the MASCAGNI sofa stands out as a bold presence, defined by its signature plissé upholstery and generous proportions. The MANZONI sofa, modular in nature, offers a wide range o configurations, combining upholstered volumes, leather, and metal elements with a strong emphasis on Italian craftsmanship. The ROYAL BYBLOS sofa expresses the grandeur of living through large, balanced volumes and a striking presence, reinterpreting the iconic BYBLOS sofa from the first collection, one of the brand’s best-selling pieces.
The dining area is defined by the ATLAS table, designed for large-scale settings where conviviality and design meet. Introduced here with the VOLO signature pattern, the table reflects an exceptional level of craftsmanship and material research. Alongside, the ORIZZONTE screen stands as an impressive element, distinguished by its large scale and antique mirrored surfaces that create depth and reflection within the space. The NOBILE desk expresses a precise and technical approach, combining marble, leather, and refined detailing into a sophisticated composition. The MUSA bed completes the collection with its balanced proportions and refined presence, shaping the bedroom with understated elegance.

At the center of the collection, the ONDA armchair is introduced as part of the Collector’s Series, defined by its fluid structure and refined material composition, where the dialogue between upholstery and its bronzed base shapes its identity. Alongside, the LOBSTER armchair is presented in a limitededition degradé olive finish within the same series, enhancing its enveloping form and iconic silhouette.
Material research remains at the core of the collection. Fabrics such as bouclé, wool, and fine lana, entirely sourced and crafted in Italy, express a rich tactile quality, enhanced by a Mediterraneaninspired palette of olive greens, cinnamon tones, and deep natural hues. Metals are developed in refined finishes, from bronzed tones to a distinctive nocturne blue, adding depth and character. Marble selections, including Camouflage Marble and Lepanto Green, are the result of extensive research and are chosen for their unique veining and tonal richness, reinforcing the overall identity of each piece. This continuous dialogue with Italian artisans ensures a level of craftsmanship where every detail contributes to the integrity of the collection.

The narrative extends into a complete lifestyle vision through key collaborations. Kitchens and wardrobes developed with SCIC integrate seamlessly into the overall language of the collection, while rugs created with Sahrai translate textures and colors into tactile compositions. Home décor objects, developed with Giobagnara, complete the environment with a refined layering of materials and details.
On the business side, the evolution of ELIE SAAB Maison reflects a clear and structured vision. “This year’s collection marks a true evolution for ELIE SAAB Maison. Presented through the concept of a Milanese house, infused with the warmth of Lebanese hospitality, it conveys a sense of home. Each piece contributes to a stronger sense of unity, revealing a clearer and more distinctive expression of the brand.,” says Elie Saab Jr. – CEO ELIE SAAB Group
