BLUE WAKE 2026: APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR EXHIBITORS’ ECO-SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS
Following the success of its 2025 pilot programme, which highlighted 59 environmental improvement solutions, the Monaco Yacht Show is now accepting applications for exhibitors to participate in Blue Wake 2026.
This initiative aims to identify and showcase solutions that contribute to environmental improvement, building on last year’s pilot with an updated framework that asks exhibitors to describe their environmental focus and provide supporting evidence.
Developed in partnership with Water Revolution Foundation, the 2026 programme broadens its scope to include brokerage and yacht management companies. This expansion reflects the growing importance of sustainability across the entire lifecycle of a vessel, underscoring the industry’s commitment to structural environmental priorities.
“Blue Wake represents a pivotal moment for the Monaco Yacht Show, as we continue to evolve into a platform where technical transparency and environmental sustainability redefine industry standards,” , said Toby Moore, CEO of Informa Prestige, the luxury brands portfolio that includes the MYS. “By introducing a rigorous, evidence-based framework, we empower exhibitors to showcase their operational progress with credibility. Expanding the programme to include brokerage and yacht management companies recognising that environmental improvement can come from different stages of the yacht lifecycle.”
Leah Werner, the newly appointed Executive Director of Water Revolution Foundation, added: “Blue Wake 2026 is a crucial milestone in embedding standards that enable exhibitors and the wider yachting industry to advance together. With my background as a biological oceanographer, I’ve spent my career translating complex scientific data into practical frameworks — the same approach that underpins Blue Wake’s evaluation process. Building on the solid foundations established last year, this edition further develops the framework introduced during the pilot programme, offering exhibitors a structured way to present environmental improvement initiatives that aim to improve environmental performance and are supported by available evidence.”
Exhibitor participation:
– Applications can be submitted via the dedicated module within the MYS Exhibitor Zone.
– All submissions will be reviewed by Water Revolution Foundation against the Blue Wake framework and the supporting evidence provided by applicants.
– The deadline for submissions is 1 July 2026.
Blue Wake 2026 continues to provide exhibitors with a clear framework to present environmental improvement solutions and the evidence supporting their claims.
