BILGIN’S 52-METER NB83 TOUCHES WATER: A MAJOR MILESTONE ACHIEVED INANTALYA
Bilgin Yachts is delighted to announce the successful launch of the latest hull in the highly successful 52-meter Bilgin 170 series, with the model name NB83. Launched in Antalya, this milestone not only marks a key stage in the yacht’s construction, but also reflects the continued growth and strengthening of Bilgin Yachts’ production capabilities at its Antalya facility.
The launch underscores the refined craftsmanship, advanced engineering, and integrated production approach that define Bilgin Yachts and the prestigious “Made in Türkiye” mark of excellence.
Built on a proven semi-custom platform, NB83 represents the evolved generation of Bilgin’s former 50-meter series, delivering a compelling balance between sleek exterior aesthetics and generous interior and exterior volumes. While her profile echoes the elegant lines of Bilgin’s Camila, NB83 features unique surface finishes and bespoke detailing, shaped by the owner’s vision and executed with full creative freedom entrusted to the shipyard and its design partners.
Developed by Unique Yacht Design, the yacht’s efficient displacement hull delivers optimized hydrodynamics, long-range capability, and exceptional onboard comfort -key attributes of the Bilgin 170 platform. “Our goal with the 170 series was to offer the exterior spaces typically found on 60-meter yachts within a sub-500 GT platform,” says Emrecan Özgün, Founder of Unique Yacht Design. “NB83 is sleek, sexy, and modern. We focused on maximizing the transition between luxury indoor and outdoor living, ensuring a design that remains contemporary and
relevant even ten years from now.”

Strengthening Capabilities in Antalya the launch of NB83 in Antalya highlights the strategic importance and growing strength of Bilgin Yachts’ Antalya shipyard, where engineering precision meets hands-on production expertise.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Emrecan Özgün also emphasized the philosophy driving the series forward: “Our approach is always focused on becoming better. Because we develop our engineering platforms in-house, we benefit from highly efficient hull forms and extremely strong technical foundations.”
Özgün underlined Bilgin’s production-driven mindset. “We come from a production background, which allows us to control every stage of the build. If a detail cannot be fully resolved in a digital environment, we solve it on the workshop floor and then transfer that knowledge back into the design and engineering process. Having design and engineering know-how constantly communicating with production is essential.”
“Our motivation is simple,” he adds. “To create yachts that are enjoyable, beautiful, and refined – products that elevate our brand and, most importantly, make our clients happy. We want owners to use their yachts with pleasure and speak about them with pride.”

A Platform Shaped by Experience as the Bilgin 170 series has matured, successful owner-driven solutions have evolved into defining standards of the platform.
“Details that were once custom requests, such as the forward anchor observation pockets and the oversized gangway typically reserved for 80-meter yachts, have now become standard due to their success,” says Alper Eroğlu, Senior Project Manager at Light Ray Yachts, Bilgin Yachts’ solution partner. “We even integrated a dedicated garbage room in the bow a feature virtually unseen in previous 50-meter yachts.”
These thoughtful enhancements demonstrate Bilgin’s commitment to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and real-world usability -setting the Bilgin 170 apart within its size category.
Refined Interiors by Hot Lab the interior spaces of the Bilgin 170 series have been designed by Hot Lab, blending functionality with refined aesthetics and contemporary luxury. Soft color palettes, layered materials, and rich
textures create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere throughout the yacht.

“The Bilgin 170 series offers a captivating balance of style, functionality, and craftsmanship,” says Enrico Lumini of Hot Lab. “From her elegant exterior lines to the flow of her interior spaces, every detail is carefully considered to elevate the yachting experience. Today’s clients are far more design-conscious than they were twenty years ago. While beige and off-white tones remain popular, what defines modern luxury is the intelligent layering of materials and textures, creating interiors that feel inviting, elegant, and timeless.”
With a gross tonnage of 499 GT, the Bilgin 170 series offers approximately 20% more usable volume than yachts in the 48-meter range. NB83 accommodates up to 12 guests, including a generous bridge-deck owner’s suite, and features expansive outdoor living areas designed for relaxation, entertainment, and seamless indoor-outdoor living.
More than 90% of the yacht’s construction is carried out in-house, reflecting Bilgin Yachts’ vertically integrated production model and five-generation shipbuilding heritage. This approach ensures complete control over quality, craftsmanship, and delivery timelines.
