BENETTI ANNOUNCES THE SALE OF THE THIRD MOTOPANFILO 45M UNIT
The new yacht, commissioned by an Italian entrepreneur will be the first in the Motopanfilo 45M series to feature a distinctive blue hull. Benetti announces the sale of the third unit of its Motopanfilo 45M series, brokered in collaboration with Kora Marine. Featuring a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, this latest addition to the series will stand out as the first Motopanfilo 45M to feature a distinctive blue hull, a refined design choice that further enhances the yacht’s timeless elegance and unmistakable character.
Commissioned by a renowned Italian entrepreneur with a lifelong passion for the sea and extensive yachting experience, the yacht represents a highly personalized interpretation of the Motopanfilo 45M. The owner’s vision has shaped a bespoke project in which design, functionality and individual expression come together seamlessly.
The interiors, designed by Valentina Zannier, have been developed in close collaboration with the owner’s wife, whose personal aesthetic and experience in interior design have played an integral role in defining the yacht’s character. This collaborative approach extends to the customization of the exterior spaces, ensuring a cohesive design that reflects the owners’ lifestyle and preferences.
A Contemporary Expression of an Iconic Heritage the Motopanfilo 45M is a contemporary reinterpretation of Benetti’s iconic Motopanfilo yachts of the 1960s, celebrated for their harmonious proportions, understated elegance and distinctive nautical identity.
The exterior design, conceived by renowned British studio RWD, pays tribute to this heritage while introducing a sophisticated contemporary aesthetic. The yacht’s low, streamlined profile and characteristic slanted windows recall the original Motopanfilo design language, reimagined through clean architectural lines, flush detailing and expansive glazed surfaces.
Along the hull, rectangular windows alternate with traditional round portholes, creating a distinctive visual rhythm that balances classic nautical references with modern styling. The full-beam superstructure further enhances the onboard experience, providing generous interior volumes and an abundance of natural light.
Developed by the Azimut|Benetti Group’s R&D Department, the naval architecture combines efficiency, comfort and long-range cruising capabilities, reinforcing the yacht’s suitability for extended voyages.
The Veranda Deck®: Redefining the Connection with the Sea among the Motopanfilo 45M’s most distinctive features is the innovative Veranda Deck®, a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional main deck saloon that transforms the relationship between indoor and outdoor living.
By incorporating the side walkways into the main living area, Benetti has created an expansive wide-body space that opens fully on three sides, establishing an uninterrupted connection with the surrounding seascape.
This architectural concept creates the atmosphere of a private veranda overlooking the sea, where the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces are virtually eliminated. The Veranda Deck® becomes the social heart of the yacht, visually extending towards the infinity pool and aft beach area while offering guests an immersive experience of life on the water.
Exceptional Comfort and Long-Range Performance measuring 44.55 metres in overall length with a maximum beam of 9.10 metres, the Motopanfilo 45M offers generous accommodation and thoughtfully designed living spaces.
The yacht welcomes up to ten guests across five cabins, including an expansive owner’s suite measuring more than 60 square metres. Accommodation for nine crew members in five cabins ensures a high standard of service and operational efficiency.
In terms of performance, the Motopanfilo 45M reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots and offers an impressive cruising range of 4,100 nautical miles at 10 knots, making it ideally suited to extended journeys in exceptional comfort.
The sale of the third unit further strengthens the position of the Motopanfilo 45M within Benetti’s portfolio, reflecting the enduring appeal of a yacht that combines the shipyard’s heritage with contemporary design, technical innovation and extensive customization opportunities.
The first Motopanfilo 45M is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2027 with the newly sold third unit expected to follow in late 2028.
