Baglietto 46m Fast and MY Unicorn worldwide premiere at the next Boat Shows
Baglietto 2016 season of international boat shows is opening with two world premiere, bearing witness to the boat builder’s current soundness and great vitality. Indeed, Baglietto will be taking part in the Yachting Festival in Cannes and the Monaco Yacht Show with the Baglietto 46 m Fast, the Shipyard’s latest launch, and the Unicorn, 54 m displacement motor yacht recently delivered to a European Owner.
Both vessels have been designed by Francesco Paszkowski, who took care of both their exterior lines and interiors, the latter in cooperation with architect Margherita Casprini. Naval engineering was developed by Baglietto’s Technical Department.
When designing this new vessel, great care was devoted to maximising the outdoor areas, so as toallow passengers to be in closer contact with the sea when both cruising and at anchor, and toenjoy conviviality in the open air. Following in the wake of the sleek aluminium planning yachts that have made the brand’s success all over the world, the new 46 m FAST stands out for its streamlinedbow and rakish lines expressing a strong personality, but can also boast an imposing stern withhawses, thereby maintaining the family feeling with previous Baglietto yachts. A new elementcharacterising the exterior lines is the compact shape of the superstructure, which is not too high toenhance aerodynamic penetration. Interiors present incredibly spacious volumes for a planning vessel of this size. The warm shades of rosewood alternate with the colder white lacquered ceilingand side panels, resulting in very refined, contemporary, stylish interiors. The yacht, is classified withLloyd’s Register of Shipping and compliant to MCA standards.
The new 54m vessel Unicorn was built using Baglietto’s extensively tested platform for 53 m yachts insteel and aluminium – which can boast the construction of some outstanding crafts like the Blue Scorpion, the Gitana , and the Baraka – and features the solutions and stylistic elements that havemade the brand’s international success over the years. Its aesthetic features are also serving as a‘preview’ for the restyling that will characterise the 43 m, 48 m, and 55 m yachts currently beingbuilt at the shipyard, as well as the forthcoming 58 m and 62 m projects.
Classic yet contemporary, the interiors of Unicorn strongly reflect the Owner’s personality creating arich and sophisticated atmosphere.
