B2C MEETINGS, WORKSHOPS ON AL AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AT THE CENTER OF THE 16TH EDITION
YARE 2026 unveils the full program for its 16th edition (March 11-13, Tuscany): workshops on AI, sustainability and cybersecurity, MARE Forum and 15 guaranteed B2C meetings for each company.
Yachting Aftersales & Refit Experience returns from March 11 to 13, 2026 in the Tuscan yachting district with a program placing technological innovation at the heart of refit. The 16th edition confirms the winning format: morning Forum on March 12 with MARE focus dedicated to the Mediterranean, themed afternoon workshops on March 13 covering AI applied to shipyard processes, cybersecurity, international tax regulations and crew wellbeing.
The event’s core remains the “B2C Meet the Captains” matchmaking: each company participates in 15 pre-organized one-to-one meetings with profiled international captains, arranged through the dedicated digital platform. Over 100 companies from four continents expected (70% international) and over 100 captains. Represented countries include: USA, Singapore, New Zealand, alongside major European markets. YARE is part of Tuscany Yachting Week.

The Forum on March 12 and the MARE focus
The morning of March 12 will be entirely dedicated to the YARE Forum, which this year again includes the MARE focus Mediterranean Aftersales & Refit Experience. The program features consecutive sessions designed to analyze the state of the industry and gather perspectives from Mediterranean market players, with the participation of experienced captains, sector managers and representatives of the main Mediterranean clusters.
The Forum represents one of the most anticipated moments of the event precisely because it offers an articulated and unmediated overview of the market, gathering diverse but complementary voices through open and concrete debates, built to foster direct confrontation among those who operate daily in the sector.
The afternoon workshops on March 13: problem solving at the center
In the afternoon of March 13, YARE will offer a series of thematic workshops designed as real operational working tables. The goal is not frontal lecturing, but direct confrontation between those facing concrete problems – the captains and those who can offer effective solutions – the companies. The workshops have been built based on needs emerging from dialogue with the YARE community in recent months and represent a format that the event is consolidating precisely to meet the growing demand for practical and immediately applicable content.
Among the topics addressed: artificial intelligence and its integration into refit processes and predictive maintenance management; tax and legal frameworks in the international context; the well-being of onboard staff, from stress management to managing working relationships, a theme that has gained centrality in owners’ requests in recent years; and the relationship between captains and refit shipyards, a strategic node of the entire supply chain that determines the success or failure of a project.

B2C Meet the Captains: the heart of the YARE model
Alongside the content program, the central element of YARE remains the “B2C Meet the Captains” matchmaking format, which represents the true driver of the event and the main reason why companies and captains choose YARE as a business platform. Each participating company receives a personalized agenda of 15 pre-organized and guaranteed one-to-one meetings with highly profiled international captains.
The meetings are built through the dedicated digital platform and the event’s official app, based on technical profiles, operational needs and mutual interests. These are not casual encounters, but targeted appointments that precisely and effectively connect supply and demand. The system has been refined over fifteen editions and has proven to be an extremely effective tool for generating lasting professional relationships and concrete business opportunities.
The target consists of international captains with direct operational responsibility over refit, maintenance and supply choices. They are professionals managing high-prestige units who seek reliable, competent partners capable of responding to complex technical needs. The selection is curated directly by NAVIGO, the event organizer, and guarantees a very high level of profiling, an element that companies recognize as one of YARE’s distinctive strengths.

The international presence: over 100 companies from around the world
The 2026 edition confirms the international dimension that has always characterized YARE. Over 100 companies and over 100 captains are expected, from four continents and representative of the global refit and aftersales supply chain. Among the participating companies are primary shipyards and specialized suppliers from the United States, Singapore, New Zealand, as well as the main European players.
The data on participating companies’ origins confirms YARE’s international scope: 30% of participating companies come from Italy, while 70% arrive from international markets. Among the most represented foreign countries are Spain, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Monaco, United States, Switzerland and France. Significant presences also from Estonia, Montenegro, Singapore, Denmark, Ireland, Germany, Turkey and New Zealand.
This geographical distribution testifies to YARE’s ability to attract not only Mediterranean excellences, but also strategic operators from extra-European markets, confirming the event’s positioning as a global-level platform. The presence of companies from all continents also creates unique opportunities for confrontation, technological exchange and development of international partnerships.
