CL YACHTS RELEASES FIRST IMAGES OF CLB65 SUV, ITS SPORTIEST YACHT YET BUILT FOR OWNER-OPERATORS
The 19.7-metre yacht combines sporty performance, versatile living spaces and refined luxury designed with owner-operators in mind.
CL Yachts has unveiled the first images of its latest model, the CLB65 SUV, a 19.7-metre yacht that introduces a sportier and more versatile evolution of the successful CLB65 platform. Following the completion of sea trials this summer, the yacht has arrived in Hong Kong ahead of its highly anticipated Asian debut.

The CLB65 SUV will make its first appearance at an exclusive private premiere for selected clients and brokers at the shipyard, before its official debut at the Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show – Festa Nautica, taking place from 6–8 November 2026, followed by the Hong Kong International Boat Show from 3–6 December 2026.
As CL Yachts’ first SUV-style yacht, the CLB65 SUV replaces the traditional flybridge with an expansive single-level living environment and a multifunctional stern area. Combining practicality, contemporary design and exceptional performance, the new model reflects the shipyard’s commitment to delivering a seamless yachting experience for owner-operators.

Sporty performance and effortless handling engineered for both performance and ease of operation, the CLB65 SUV is available with twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines, delivering 1,136 hp each, or twin Volvo Penta D13 engines, producing 1,000 hp each.
During sea trials, the yacht achieved a top speed of 28 knots at half load with the Caterpillar C18 configuration, alongside a cruising speed of 21 knots.
Developed in collaboration with naval architect Howard Apollonio and structural engineering specialists Gurit, the yacht features a resin-infused composite hull strategically reinforced with carbon fibre to optimise weight, strength and efficiency.

An optional concealed ZF JMS control system enhances manoeuvrability and simplifies docking, with controls accessible from either wing station. Owners can also select electric fin stabilisers or a gyroscopic stabiliser paired with active interceptors to maximise onboard comfort.
Additional options include a RINA Hull Construction Statement or CE Recreational Craft Design Category B certification.

Versatile outdoor spaces for adventure and relaxation designed for adventurous lifestyles, the CLB65 SUV offers an innovative multifunctional stern area that can be configured as a command centre for fishing and diving activities, a beach club or a temporary guest stateroom.
A teak-laid bathing platform extends the outdoor living space directly to the water, enhancing the connection between the yacht and its surroundings.

The spacious Aft Lounge offers panoramic views and a flexible setting for alfresco dining and entertaining, complete with a plush daybed and a bar with seating for two.
Forward, the Fore Lounge provides a more secluded retreat, featuring generous sun pads and comfortable seating for relaxation while underway or at anchor.

Seamless single-level living a defining feature of the CLB65 SUV is its thoughtfully designed main deck, which seamlessly integrates the aft deck, galley and salon into one expansive entertainment area.
Positioned between the aft deck and salon, the fully equipped galley creates a natural connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. A flip-up window and sliding door on the port side enhance this open-plan arrangement, while an electric grill and two bar stools provide an inviting setting for casual dining and social gatherings.

Opposite the galley, a cosy breakfast nook offers panoramic views, creating an ideal space for relaxed mornings onboard.
The spacious salon features expansive glazing, an openable rooftop and a pop-up rotating television, creating a bright and comfortable environment for guests. At the forward end of the main deck, a twin-seat helm station ensures that the owner-operator remains connected to the onboard experience.

Contemporary interiors and refined accommodation designed by Supertomato Studio, the CLB65 SUV’s interiors combine contemporary elegance with a warm, residential atmosphere.
Natural materials, refined furnishings, coordinated décor and a neutral colour palette create a tranquil environment that evokes the comfort of a home away from home. Owners can personalise the interior finishes with a choice of walnut or white oak.
The lower-deck accommodation maximises the yacht’s generous 5.85-metre beam, providing spacious and elegantly appointed guest quarters.

The full-beam master stateroom serves as a private sanctuary, featuring large hull-side windows, a king-size bed, refined walnut finishes and carefully selected textiles. Its ensuite bathroom includes double vanities and a spacious shower.
Additional accommodation comprises a VIP stateroom with a private ensuite bathroom and skylight, as well as a versatile ensuite guest cabin that can be arranged with twin beds or converted into a single-bed configuration.
A dedicated utility room or optional crew cabin completes the lower-deck layout, ensuring flexibility for different ownership requirements.

A new chapter for CL Yachts commenting on the launch, Martin Lo the Director of CL Yachts said: “CLB65 SUV builds on the success of the CLB65 and on our five generations of boat-building experience. As our first SUV yacht and our sportiest, most compact model to date, it is designed for year-round family adventures, with exciting outdoor spaces and calming indoor retreats. We are delighted to present it to the industry ahead of its Asian premiere.”
With its distinctive SUV configuration, impressive performance and adaptable living spaces, the CLB65 SUV marks an important addition to the CL Yachts portfolio, offering a compelling combination of adventure, comfort and contemporary luxury for today’s owner-operators.
