BAGLIETTO ANNOUNCES THE SALE OF PROJECT53, DESIGNED BY ENRICO GOBBI – TEAM FOR DESIGN FOR A REPEATED BAGLIETTO CLIENT
The new 53-metre yacht, designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, combines generous volumes, contemporary styling and extensive customization. Delivery is scheduled for 2029.
Baglietto opens the new yachting season with the sale of Project53, a new 53-metre yacht designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, who will also oversee the interior design concept.
Following Project58, the new Project53 with a gross tonnage below 500 GT, further develops Baglietto’s offering by combining the shipyard’s distinctive heritage with a strongly contemporary design. Generous volumes, high performance and extensive customization opportunities are at the heart of the project.

Commissioned by a repeat Baglietto client, Project53 is scheduled for delivery in 2029. The new order brings the total number of hulls sold by the shipyard in 2026 to five.
“We are particularly pleased to announce the sale of Project53,” comments Fabio Ermetto, Chief Commercial Officer of Baglietto. “It confirms that the market is increasingly looking for projects capable of offering generous volumes and high-level features while maintaining a truly bespoke approach. Project53 embodies this philosophy perfectly: a contemporary, highly recognizable Baglietto, yet one capable of adapting to the individual needs of every Owner.”
Distinctive contemporary design Project53’s exterior profile is defined by dynamic, streamlined lines and a vertical bow, giving the yacht a contemporary and assertive character. Expansive glazed surfaces allow natural light to flood the interiors, reinforcing the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces while providing panoramic views of the sea.
Outdoor living plays a central role in the yacht’s design. The particularly spacious sundeck offers generous areas dedicated to relaxation and socializing, while the beach club, open on two sides, incorporates a swimming pool and a dedicated fitness and SPA area.
Conceived as a true platform at sea, the beach club provides a seamless connection with the water, further enhanced by a centrally positioned transformer offering convenient direct access to the sea.
Elegant and light-filled interiors Also designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, the interiors are conceived as elegant, bright and contemporary environments, where carefully selected details and materials enhance the overall sense of refinement.
Particular attention has been given to maintaining visual and functional continuity throughout the yacht. Located on the main deck, the master suite features expansive windows and a spacious walk-in wardrobe, combining privacy, comfort and flexibility.

Performance and efficiency From a technical perspective, Project53 will be built with an aluminium hull, engineered to achieve an effective balance between performance, stability, range and operational efficiency.
The yacht is expected to reach a top speed exceeding 16 knots, delivering the performance capabilities associated with Baglietto while maintaining the comfort expected from a yacht of this size and volume.
With the sale of the first Project53 unit, Baglietto further strengthens its presence in the 50-metre segment, introducing a yacht that combines the generous volumes and comfort typically associated with larger vessels with the performance, efficiency and flexibility of a highly bespoke design.
Project53 represents the latest expression of Baglietto’s approach to contemporary yacht building: distinctive design, technical expertise and extensive customization brought together to create a yacht tailored to the individual requirements of its Owner.
