Range Rover House has opened its doors for the first time in Abu Dhabi, offering invited guests a selection of curated modern luxury experiences culminating in the reveal of the Range Rover SV Bespoke Sadaf Edition. This masterpiece is limited to 20 examples, available exclusively in the Middle East.
Range Rover House brings the brand’s DNA and design leadership to the fore through a range of experiences and activities, in a setting carefully curated to reflect Range Rover’s design leadership the brand’s relevance to the local culture and the inspiration it draws from it.
Nestled at the white sandy beaches of the Arabian Gulf in a luxury retreat that was until very recently off-limits to the public, Range Rover House is the perfect venue to showcase the latest masterpiece by SV Bespoke: the Sadaf Edition.
Influenced by the region’s long association with the Arabian Gulf and seaborne trade, the Range Rover SV Bespoke Sadaf Edition’s unique colour combination is inspired by a long, rich tradition of pearl diving, an integral part of the history and culture of the region.
Range Rover designers took inspiration from the unique colours of the natural pearls and the seashells that contain them to create the Range Rover Bespoke SV Sadaf Edition. An exclusive ‘glass pearl flake’ white gloss exterior paint, inspired by the white of seashells, provides a deep and sophisticated finish, paired with a pearlescent contrast roof that compliments the seashell-toned exterior colour and 23-inch Diamond Turned SV wheels with gloss dark grey contrast and matching inserts. On the bonnet, beautifully sophisticated two-piece hand crafted metal script badging is finished in 24k gold and black chrome, for a jewellery-like finish.
The bespoke interior is meticulously crafted in duo-tone leather, featuring semi-aniline Perlino front seats, while the upper section of the dashboard and the rear seats are covered in Liberty Blue near-aniline leather to reflect the blue colour of the Arabian Gulf. Natural Cream Ash Burr veneer with contrasting stitching and bespoke embroidery highlight the exclusivity of the vehicle. The treadplates feature the ‘Sadaf Edition’ wordmark alongside a ‘1 of 20’ designation.
The Sadaf Edition is offered exclusively to guests of Range Rover House, and owners will receive another piece of art alongside their exclusive vehicle: a sculpture made by Emiriati conceptual artist Matar Bin Lahij, renowned for his calligraphy work that covers the Museum of the Future in Dubai.
The new piece, named ‘The Pearl’, made from the highest quality stainless steel, represents a sphere that opens up to reveal its inner secrets and energy. It consists of several layers and rounded shapes, forming long stretches of metal that turn and twist, with pearls in different sizes and forms. These emerge from a core formulated by immaculate Arabic calligraphy that represents the sphere’s nucleus, bursting with energy, tradition and beauty.
Art, design and culture are at the heart of the Range Rover House, which features many activities that reflect the brand’s ethos. Guests have a chance to enjoy live music, as well as enjoy a unique chef’s table experience, prepared by Chef Sara Akeel, a multi-award-winning chef, who combines creativity with a vision of sustainability, by locally sourcing produce and utilising every ingredient in the kitchen with a zero-waste ambition.
