The Galeon 470 Sky deck

Based on the Galeon 460 Fly, the 470 Sky Deck is sure to turn heads once again with its purposeful styling whilst its well proven hull design offers dynamic performance and a thrilling ride yet with high levels of comfort in a modern Interior styling.

One of the most exciting aspects of this design is the more stylish sports flybridge design. This system proven on a couple of previous Galeon designs is a very convenient feature. By a simple push of a button, the roof cover slides to reveal its Sky deck, giving clients the best of both worlds – the sleek sporty lines of a hard-top with the commanding driving position of a flybridge. However, it’s not just about sleek lines as it is has a very practical benefit – when the roof is closed, the flybridge is protected from UV rays, water staining, dust collection and seagulls!  So it cuts down on cleaning, moving cumbersome cushions and remains like-new time after time. The layout of the 470 is similar to the 460Fly model and was conceived to offer a convenient and spacious living arrangement. The Sky deck features ample seating  and sunbed areas.  The seat backs fold down and the helm console lowers automatically when the roof system is operated.

The versatile lower cockpit area has a large sundeck on top of the garage, the famous Balconies we designed for Galeon, and the huge glazed areas of the main saloon help create not just a superb panoramic view throughout but help transform the complete main deck into a recreational in-and-out area adding to the enjoyment of being in such a sumptuous environment. Below deck the layout is shared with its sister ship the Galeon 460 Fly, with three full sized cabins offering six berths, plenty of storage. The owners cabin is fitted with a vanity table and chaise-longue, and all bathrooms have separate shower cubicles.

The 460 Sky Deck boasts plenty of technical gadgets, clever lighting, storage at every opportunity and further improvements over previous designs to make life easy and enjoyable.

A wide range of engines with IPS or shaft drive propulsion systems is available along with a comprehensive list of additional equipment.
