Wider at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
Wider at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2015
Wider, the Italian yacht builder established in 2010 by Tilli Antonelli, reinforce their presence at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which takes place from the 5th to 9th of November, with the collaboration of Wider Yachts USA.
After 2 years of planning and tens of thousands of man hours in construction, on October the 21st the WIDER 150 Superyacht was successfully launched at the WIDER Super Yacht Division headquarters in Ancona. This significant milestone in the company’s history was scheduled to take place only after every other yard-based operation had been successfully completed under the cover of the state of the art shipyard. Now with a gleaming white painted hull and superstructure, and intricately refined cabinetry fitted, the yacht that generated so much attention during her construction has been introduced to the ocean for the first time.
The excitement is also increased by the fact that a few days after the launch of GENESI, the largest and most spectacular of the WIDER range, the WIDER 165 – project CECILIA, was moved into the WIDER Superyacht Division’s main production facility for fitting out. In an operation that starting at 10pm on the evening of the 26th of October, and which lasted just over 2 hours, the yacht was moved along the 900m of public highways to WIDER’s main yard.
With these events in the mind’s eye, Wider is proud to participate at the most important yachting event in the US showcasing their products in two different locations: the Wider Superyacht Division focus will be on Booth 1316 located at the Yacht Builders Pavillion. Here you will be able to see the very latest, up to date pictures and videos of the WIDER 150, project GENESI, as well as the status regarding other projects from the Superyacht Division.
The Wider Express Cruiser Division, on the other hand, will be represented by the eye-catching Amalfi Zest WIDER 32 and the iconic, light silver WIDER 42.
