MUB New 65m Yacht Design ‘Crescendo’

French-Moroccan designer Mahjoub El Mahmoudi from MUB design based in Paris have showcased their new 65m yacht design ‘Crescendo’.

This yacht is primarily an illustration of my expertise in this environment. It is a mixture of both yacht and exploration yacht through its rear portion fully outward. A clear relationship between solid and void occurs.

The concept comes from the project is the unique side with its timeless design and elegant proof of climate situations. External lines smooth and sleek design allow easy reading of the various deck and intuitively organized interior. They have been extensively using advanced technologies such as surfaces called class A, used in particular in the automotive industry to solve problems related to land use studies.

These technical parts have been treated by a team of engineers with over ten years of experience in the naval environment, for which most have worked on major projects such as for the privilege Yard (One privilege yacht 128m , currently under construction in Italy). Inspired by Japanese rice (hence the idea of stratum which allows a certain reading of the yacht as a whole leads us naturally to the lower deck main deck with two straight stairs), this “beach” rear is a communal space for the owner and his guests.

There are also various facilities, such as a submarine seater, two tenders, the ski and a rescue boat jets. For what is inside, it was arranged accordingly to accommodate in comfort 14 passengers and crew.

It includes a large aquarium as well as designed by the designer himself, as Alattice chair (chaise lounge), Toubkal (living) through the door wrist (wrist rotate) and shisha (hookah) furniture. Much of his creations, inspired by the Franco-Moroccan dual culture, contained in Crescendo yacht.

Some of the interior spaces, including owner’s bedroom are decorated with fabrics from leading publishers such as Lelièvre, Nobilis and in Houles regarding trimmings. Regarding the tapestry (chair, armchair, sheer curtains, double curtains, wall hangings), they would be supported by the company Tapestry Palace has a great know-how since 1976.

This project is therefore not a simple exercise but rather a performance featuring our skills, both for the interior / exterior design for the engineering side.
