YARE starts the event season Tuscany will host in the months before the summer
In less than a month YARE (Yachting Aftersales & Refit Experience) – scheduled in Versilia from 20th to 23rd of March – will open Tuscany’s nautical events spring season, a territory which with its 13 brands represents 60% of the whole national superyacht sales volume.
This ninth edition of the international event, focused on the refit and aftersales market, will host captains, chief engineers and yacht managers who represent boat owners and shipyards from all over the world and nautical manufacturers and service suppliers from Italy and abroad.
YARE, organized by NAVIGO, center for the innovation and development for the nautical sector, still is the unique meeting point of actual yachting discussion and business development in the world thanks to its original format, workshop sessions and many networking opportunities hosted during the event.
The Superyacht Captains’ Forum, organized by international media partner The Superyacht Group, will take place on March 21st at Principino congress centre in Viareggio.
Over 500 insiders (experts, journalists, captains and entrepreneurs) will be present, gathered to look at the data with an international point of view on an acknowledged and consolidated upswing of the Italian and European market.
Refit is a growing market with an EUR 240 million (data from Ucina) sales volume in the global nautical industry with an average investment on a 30 mt yacht of EUR 350k per year and peaks of 1 million spent in a five years period by the owner.
Given the increasing investments in the technical and aesthetic maintenance – factors which increase a yacht’s value – there’s a bigger necessity to make companies meet who manages the boat, which is bigger and more complex to run.
In this context, the workshop sessions scheduled for YARE are made to support trends, opportunities and problems in managing important yacht refitting orders.
On March 22nd companies will have the opportunity to meet 100 captains – selected from a 2600+ list database – in the B2C Meet the Captain session, powered by an APP which carefully customizes every face to face matching, meeting the participants’ expectations and needs. A unique way for companies to directly introduce themselves outside of the networking occasions to the people who manage the yachts and represent the owners.
As usual, YARE is going to be a rich and engaging event with a yacht district tour for captains and a specific programme composed of social activities and discovery of the Tuscan territory, host of one of the most important sector districts of the world.
