YARE 2025 CONCLUDES WITH OUTSTANDING SUCCESS: NETWORKING, INNOVATION, AND STRATEGIES FOR THE FUTURE OF REFIT AND AFTERSALES

The fifteenth edition of YARE (Yachting Aftersales & Refit Experience), the international benchmark event for the refit and aftersales sector in the yachting industry, has successfully concluded. With record-breaking numbers and a packed agenda of meetings, workshops, and high-level strategic discussions, YARE 2025 has reaffirmed its key role in the global yachting landscape.

Pietro Angelini, General Manager of NAVIGO, stated: “Refit is a strategic and central market segment for the coming years, as highlighted by the data presented at the forum. In particular, the 24 to 50-meter yacht range represents a key sector, with significant return opportunities for local operators. This makes the modernization of port infrastructures essential, as they must accelerate their adaptation processes to meet this growing demand. Indeed, data clearly show that yachts of this size constitute the most significant share in the Mediterranean.”
International Participation and Growing Numbers the 2025 edition of YARE recorded approximately 600 attendees, with an international presence of 70%, underscoring the event’s global relevance. The event hosted 110 superyacht captains, over 120 international companies and suppliers in the refit sector, as well as service and technology providers for yachting, creating a high-level networking environment. Numerous B2C meetings and one-on-one matching sessions facilitated new collaborations and synergies among industry players. More than 2,000 Business-to-Business meetings were conducted over the two dedicated days, ensuring maximum success for participants based on their pre-expressed interests.

Over the three days of YARE 2025, various events and discussion sessions allowed industry professionals to explore key challenges and opportunities for the future:
- Visits to the Nautical District: YARE offered participants an exclusive tour of major shipyards and nautical hubs along the Tuscan coast, including Massa, Viareggio, Pisa, and Livorno, providing direct access to Italian excellence in yacht construction and refit.
- YARE Forum and MARE Forum: A key moment of the event, where over 15 international speakers, including shipyard representatives, industry experts, and superyacht captains, discussed emerging market trends such as the growing demand for sustainable refit, advancements in digital technologies for yacht management, and new environmental regulations. This forum provided a common space to address perspectives and dynamics of the Mediterranean region.
- Thematic Workshops: Three interactive workshops and labs were organized, covering topics such as artificial intelligence and its applications onboard and ashore, new materials in refit, and stress management and well-being for industry professionals.

YARE 2025 served as a crucial platform for discussion among key Mediterranean nautical clusters and beyond. Notably, the event fostered collaboration with the French Riviera Yachting Network (RYN) and the Spanish Balearic Marine Cluster BMC) to create synergies on key topics such as specialized training and the joint promotion of the Western Mediterranean as a prime superyacht refit destination.
A total of 21 countries were represented by companies and captains, further demonstrating YARE’s international network.
A key event in the Yachting Week YARE 2025 was part of the Yachting Week, a series of nautical events held in collaboration with Seatec-Compotec. The format engaged the entire Tuscan coast, from Argentario – where the March 15th event in collaboration with CNA Grosseto focused on “Strategies for the Nautical Sector: Growth, Innovation, and Regulations for an Evolving Industry”—to Livorno’s Yacht Club, which hosted the March 11th meeting with Propeller on “Port Infrastructure: Digital Accessibility and Sustainability for Yachting.” Additionally, the B2B special edition held on March 12th in Viareggio promoted meetings between shipyards and the supply chain. All these initiatives contributed to creating a favorable ecosystem for the growth of the nautical sector.

“This edition marked another step forward for YARE as an international reference event for refit and aftersales in yachting. The increase in international participation and the high level of meetings confirm that our format is effective and meets the needs of a constantly evolving market. High-quality networking, combined with increasingly innovative content, is the key to YARE’s success and the foundation on which we will continue to build for the future,” concluded Angelini.

YARE 2025 once again proved to be an essential event for yachting professionals, reinforcing its role as a hub for networking, innovation, and growth in the refit sector. With a strong focus on digitalization, sustainability, and service excellence, the event has set the stage for an even more ambitious future.
The next edition promises to continue growing and innovating within the global yachting landscape.
