YARE 2020: BUSINESS, INDUSTRY INSIGHTS, AND THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL DATE OF THE SUPERYACHT FORUM “LIVE”

Following the new regulations on Covid-19 issued by the Italian government and prohibiting congresses and conventions, YARE (Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience) – a one of a kind rendez-vous among superyacht Captainsand international leading companiesof the yachting industry– is going digital transforming the formatand taking up the challenge this particular situation imposes.

On Thursday 26and Friday 27 November, all scheduled activities will be available online allowing both companies and Captains to participate actively: thanks to the YARE App, the event will be a virtual àgorawith a vast audience of professionals doing networking and creating business opportunities.

The Superyacht Captains Forum LIVE- organized by The Superyacht Media Group– the international media partner – will be visible on streamingon the opening day, November 26. The Forum will offer a dynamic program with contents broadcasted and available on demand. Guests and facilitators include industry leaders and experts, companies and shipyards representatives as well as yacht captains, all offering a unique insight into the current state of the world Superyacht market.  YARE, will host the forum as the first event on a tour that will touch other important locations such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Hamburg, London andMunich.

The five workshopswill be virtual roomswhere participants will be able to access to discuss the industry hot issues focusing this year on five specific topics: planning refit projects, innovations on painting and coating, cyber security, green agenda on technologies to reduce environmental impact, legal administration and taxation.  

The Shipyard tour will be broadcasted live and so will be the lateral happenings such as theRINA Captains Awards and thePasserelle Pitch.

The characteristics of the Captains involved in this digital edition remain unchanged: superyacht Captains on board of yachts between 30 and 60 metersand overthat is the main segment of the world fleet in terms of production and refit. 

The online meetings between companies and Captains will be scheduled on the week following YARE, on the base of each customized agenda and thanks to the matchmaking system provided by the YARE App. 

Since times require flexibility and resilience, NAVIGO, the nautical innovation and development company organizing YARE, decided to redesign the format of the event to provide the industry stakeholders with a valuable tool for marketing and networking, overcoming the barriers of space and time to unable business between the industry professionals.

The 2021 edition of the event will take place from the 24 until the 26 of March 2021 in Viareggio.
