SUPERYACHT & REFIT: YARE turns 10th News about the Anniversary Edition in Viareggio from 18th to 20th March 2020

An enhance formatto increase the results of the meetings between Companies and Captains, the Passarelle Pitch contestwhere leading international Companies will compete with innovative projects and the brand new Captains Award.

These are some of the novelties planned for the next edition of YARE (Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience), the international business event dedicated to aftersales and refit in the Superyacht sector, that will be held in Viareggiofrom 18th to 20th March 2020.

A special edition that will celebrate 10 years of the event organized and promoted by NAVIGO, center for the innovation and development of nautical sector, and endorsed by SYBAss, the prestigious international association of superyacht shipyards.

Three days of business, meetings and in-depth discussions with the BC2 – Meet the Captains Format, split into two half-days, with a dedicated App – a unique opportunity of pre-arranged face to face meetings between Captains and the refit and aftersales companies.

The purpose is recognize the evolution of the market, thanks to the feedback of those who work with yachts and represents mainly private shipowners.

Innovation, technology, perspectives and market trends will be the topics to be discussed during the workshops of The Superyacht Captains Forum- organized by The Superyacht Group, YARE’s international media partner – the annual meeting that explores the state of the market, dynamics and future prospects by analyzing and comparing the sector data.

100 Captains will be hosted, currently at the helm of yachts mainly between 30 and 60 mt and over 60 mt. yachts that represent the main segment of the world yacht fleet and characterise the production and refit market.

Most of the Captains attending YARE represent private shipowners, with a prevalence of motor over sailing yachts and are coming from all over the world.

YARE is confirmed to be a strategic event due to the important presence of Captains and top international Shipyards, operating in the Mediterranean and North European area.

In addition to business meetings and tours in the nautical district, Captains and Companies will have the opportunity to enjoy a full programme of dedicated meetings, visits and leisure activities.

For the campaign dedicated to the 10th anniversaryof the event, a new image has been created that is closely linked to the XX century Futurism. The lines synthesize Yare World, supporting a stylized megayacht symbolically directed upwards.
