Sunseeker has reinvented an iconic open-top day boat, introducing a new sleek design, exquisite detailing and exciting innovations. An incredibly lightweight performance yacht, she is powered by a pair of Volvo Penta D11 – IPS 950 engines, capable of a thrilling 38 knots with unparalleled agility.
Andrea Frabetti, Chief Executive Officer at Sunseeker International, commented: “With exceptional design innovation and agility, the Superhawk 55 promises to be a thrilling new addition to the Sunseeker range, born from a passion that is unmatched in our industry. The rebirth of the Superhawk 55 as an iconic Sunseeker sports cruiser has one major difference, contemporary proportions and beautifully considered outdoor social spaces and generous interior accommodation all contribute to an incredibly smooth and exciting ride. Our performance roots are matched by comfort, room for entertaining, exploration and wellness. All providing the ultimate yachting experience.”
Striking exterior lines and intelligent design cues are evident in the Superhawk 55 exterior design. An all-new composite hull, stainless steel detailing and expansive glazing make up the stunning exterior profile. A sculptured cockpit benefits from generous configurable seating while the foredeck offers a full-length sun pad, sliding forward to reveal a rise and fall table.
The aft features a sun pad with integrated water toys storage under an electrically opening hatch perfect for storing waterski equipment and water toys. The tender garage below allows owners to make the most of their time on the water with effortless access to a Williams 325 jet tender. The Superhawk 55 garage enjoys a funicular launch design, making it very easy for guests to access the tender and toys.
An open plan arrangement delivers easy, same-level side deck access from pantograph doors port and starboard. Altogether, this new layout complete with a new centre-line triple helm is a first for Sunseeker.
Steps lead down to a highly luxurious open plan lobby and galley area sat beneath LED lighting. Further recessed lighting, curved wood and lacquer finishes all contribute to the premium feel that truly delights those who step on board. The light floods through from the expansive screen above and electrically operated blinds allow intimacy and shade when needed. A built-in television above the galley with the option to fall and rise, transforms the space into a more relaxed seating area with comfortable lounge seating and a dedicated drinks cabinet. Forward is a VIP cabin with en-suite, upholstered side units and a wardrobe unit to port. There is a large bed and the interior comes with different styling palettes throughout to give a customised and personal feel to every owner. Aft is the Master cabin with sliding berths to generate either a double or two singles and generous en-suite. Black lacquer panels frame the main cabin creating an ambiance that is pure indulgence.
The Superhawk 55 will make its global premiere at Dusseldorf International Boat Show 2023 and Miami International Boat Show 2023.
