Sanlorenzo presents new models at 2018 Boat Shows

Among the main shipyards in the world specializing in the production of yachts and superyachts, Sanlorenzo is preparing for the 2018 Boat shows with important news.

With the determination that has always distinguished it and its look towards the future, the company once again pushes the boundaries of nautical design a little further presenting some absolutely innovative proposals in the year of its 60^th anniversary.

In 2018 Sanlorenzo renews its participation to Cannes Yachting Festival and to Salone Nautico di Genova, where it will exhibit the innovative SL102, the first asymmetrical yacht that has ever been presented in the nautical world and SX76, while it will participate to the Monaco Yacht Show with 4 superyachts including the first 47-metre Explorer, 500Exp.

CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL, 11^th – 16^th SEPTEMBER 2018: SL102 E SX76

SL102 e SX76, whose concepts have been unveiled for the first time on the occasion of the Elite Days 2018, the annual event during which the company welcomes journalists and shipowners from all over the world to present the entire fleet and the latest innovations, will have their official debut during Cannes Yachting Festival.

With this proposal, Sanlorenzo returns to the international scene with a bold and innovative project.

The idea of ​​creating an asymmetrical yacht stems from a well-defined design idea that is rooted in the company’s DNA and in its intrinsic capacity to redesign the interior of a boat.

With the aim of obtaining greater usability of the interior spaces and better access to the exterior, the SL102 rethinks the well-established layout of a yacht, only keeping the deck on the starboard side and eliminating the port side one, which is carried on the roof of the structure, allowing through this asymmetrical configuration, never tried before, to recover about 10 square meters of area to benefit the interior.

SX76, the new-born of the “SX” line

A happy and intelligent synthesis between the classic motor yacht with flying bridge and the recent and growing explorer model, the SX76 incorporates the total family feeling of the SX line, keeping all the style features of SX88, in a smaller version:

• the availability of large open spaces and big windows.
• the perfect integration between aesthetics and functionality.
• the wheelhouse located on the upper deck, the flying bridge, which can be enclosed and air-conditioned.
• the living room area at the bow on the main deck which, cleared from the wheelhouse, can be dedicated to the dining room adjacent to the kitchen or, as in the version designed by Piero Lissoni, the main deck interior becomes a single open environment which houses as a continuous living area, the living room, dining room and open kitchen.
• the bow area of the main deck is fully equipped and convertible into a private dining area.
• the swimming platform at the stern which can become a garage or a beach club.

SALONE NAUTICO DI GENOVA, 20^th – 25^th SEPTEMBER 2018: SL102 E SX76

The new yachts SL102 e SX76 will also be the protagonists of Salone Nautico di Genova, where the company will exhibit SL78, SL86, SL118, SD112, SD126 and SX88 as well.

MONACO YACHT SHOW, 26^th – 29^th SEPTEMBER 2018: 500EXP

During Monaco Yacht Show 2018 – the international event exclusively dedicated to boats over 30 metres – Sanlorenzo will exhibit the first 500Exp.

Evolution of the 460Exp, this 47-metre Superyacht, represents a perfect testimony to the predisposition for personalization that has always characterized Sanlorenzo.

Developed in close contact with the owner, the new 500Exp makes it possible to have a longer stern area, thus meeting a specific request of the client to provide a “touch & go” landing area for helicopters, without losing the configuration of a superyacht Explorer, ensuring the most authentic sense of adventure on the open sea, thanks also to the many “toys” in the equipment.
