Ramble on Rose departs from ICON Yachts
Arriving at ICON’s yard in the Netherlands last September for an extensive winter refit, the 60-metre superyacht Ramble on Rose is now ready to return to the open seas!
Ramble on Rose’s winter refit saw a completely new exterior paint job and new glazing with custom-made tinted glass for maximum privacy. Interior upgrades included the installation of a new bridge, new bespoke oak flooring in the owner and guest areas and a complete renovation of the crew accommodation and recreation areas.
The success of Ramble on Rose’s winter refit was thanks to the great synergy between the Burgess Yacht Management team and the ICON Yachts Project Management Team. Following six months in the ICON sheds in Harlingen, Ramble on Rose is now ready for another summer of superyacht cruising.
Jacob de Boer, Project Manager at ICON Yachts, says: “The departure of Ramble on Rose from Harlingen this month marks another successful superyacht refit at ICON Yachts. At ICON, we’re well-equipped to welcome a huge variety of yachts from around the world. Ramble on Rose is a one of a kind Italian yacht, with the client looking for a Dutch-quality refit finish. The collaboration between the crew, Burgess yacht management team and the yard was fantastic, and we would like to thank everyone involved for a successful yard period.”
The yacht management team at Burgess who oversaw the refit of Ramble on Rose comments: “ The stay at ICON was a great experience, our deadline to get to the MYBA was paramount and despite challenges they managed to get twice the original work-scope done. Our thanks go to ICON Yachts, who handled the complicated refit of M/Y Ramble on Rose professionally.”
