OCEANCO LAUNCHES 111M Y726

Oceanco is excited to announce the launch of Y726 a milestone project that reflects the teamwork behind her creation. Commissioned in 2022 by an experienced and returning Oceanco client, Y726 is the result of close collaboration between designers, the builder, and the dedicated owner’s team. She stands as a testament to what can be achieved when all parties are united by a shared vision: creating a custom, family-focused design to enjoy with loved ones a vision they remain committed to as the project begins sea trials in the coming months ahead of delivery later this year.

With an overall length of 111m, beam of 16m and displacement of 4,550gt, Y726 is one of the largest yachts by volume constructed at Oceanco. The striking exterior design by Espen Øino International is complemented by a warm, refined interior by Mark Berryman Design. Naval architecture has been developed by Lateral in partnership with Oceanco’s in-house team and the owner’s longtime yachting representative, Dan Jackson.

“Led by the owner’s vision, Y726 exemplifies what’s possible when all of the hundreds of participants are aligned in the determined execution of that vision. As we enter the final stages, we’re proud to play a part in delivering a truly special yacht to her owner,” says A.J. Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Wright Maritime Group.

“This project is the result of bold design ambition and robust engineering. Through close collaboration with Oceanco and the projects design partners, Y726 stands as a testament not only to engineering enabling design at the highest level, but also to the power of collaboration as a catalyst for excellence,” Lateral’s Programme Director, Lee Archer said.
“From the outset, Y726 has benefitted from a deeply collaborative, trusting and positive spirit. She is set to be a standout addition to the Oceanco fleet, and we’re grateful for the strong partnerships with our Co-makers, design team and the owner’s team that brought this vision to life,” adds Oceanco’s Project Director, Edske Smit.
