OCEAN KING TO PROCEED WITH THE TECHNICAL LAUNCH AND SEA TRIALS OF ITS FIRST DUCALE 120
Exciting times ahead this week at Ocean King shipyard.
The Ducale 120, an imposing tri-deck steel vessel with a length of 36.80m and a 8.50m beam, is ready for her technical launch and sea trials. The Ocean King team is ready to proceed with all the technical controls and measures on the displacement yacht, which is the first model of the Ducale range, soon to be delivered to her owner.
Characterized by harmonious lines that define the shipyard’s DNA, the Ducale 120 offers two swimming pools; a rare feature on vessels that size: one saltwater pool complements the ample aft beach club while the sundeck enjoys the presence of a heated freshwater pool.
Generous glazing throughout the vessel, with floor-to-ceiling windows that open to the side decks in the main salon, and panoramic windows in the owner’s suite on the main deck, provide lots of natural light. The guest accommodations are located on the lower deck, with two VIP and two double cabins.
Home to the helm and captain’s cabin, the upper deck spaces also extend to the exterior thanks to lateral folding doors that create a unique sheltered, yet open area where guests could enjoy unlimited relaxation with sunbeds and sofas.
Powered by two MAN engines, the Ducale 120 is expected to reach a maximum speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
