NEW LAUNCH FOR BAGLIETTO: “AKULA”, THE THIRD T52, HITS THE WATER
Italian boat builder Baglietto launched the third T52 unit last week, thereby marking the shipyard’s fourth launch already this year. The technical launch took place in the presence of the shipyard’s workers, while waiting on the formal ceremony to be held at the beginning of the summer season, when the yacht will be officially delivered to her Owner.
The dark grey shade chosen for the hull endows this unit with a powerful, aggressive look. Her exteriors have been pencilled by Francesco Paszkowski Design, while the interior bears the sign of Enrico Gobbi, Team for Design. Italian Yacht Group as Owner Representant and Fabrizio Loi from Inter yachting LLC as surveyor, supervised the entire construction process on behalf of the Client.
Similarly to her recently-launched sister ship, this yacht, too, introduces a series of innovations compared to the traditional range, yet preserving most of the key features that have made the success of this line – from the open stern hosting a beach club on 3 levels to the sky lounge on the upper deck, which, opening on 3 sides thanks to fully-concealable floor-to-ceiling windows, maintains an incredibly close contact with the sea even when spending time indoors. Worth mentioning is also the aft area, where the garage has been replaced by a convenient gym area, moving the 2 jet skies and the 5.5m tender to the bow.
“We are now stepping into the bustling season of deliveries – comments Baglietto’s CCO Fabio Ermetto – This year, as many as 4 T52 vessels and 2 yachts in the DOM133 series will be hitting the water. And, although each yacht is part of a specific line, she is in fact truly one in her kind and the outcome of a long journey made side by side with the Owner. The launch is the culmination of this process”.
