MICHELE BUDETTA APPOINTED CEO OF RINA CONSULTING

he Board of Directors of RINA Consulting, an engineering consultancy firm of the RINA Group, has appointed Michele Budetta as Chief Executive Officer.

Michele Budetta graduated in Economics of International Trade and Currency Markets at the Parthenope University of Naples and during his career he has held positions of increasing responsibility first at the World Trade Organization (WTO), in Ansaldo Energia, Finmeccanica, AnsaldoBreda and lastly in Hitachi Rail, where he was Executive Director.

Michele Budetta also holds a PhD in International Economics from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan.

RINA Consulting is the engineering consultancy company of RINA, recognized as a major player in the energy, infrastructure and mobility sectors. Thanks to the expertise of over 3,200 experts, supported by research and development laboratories and specialized centers in the study of materials, the company collaborates with public and private clients in 48 countries worldwide.

RINA Consulting generates a turnover of over 500 million euros, equal to approximately 56% of the Group’s total. Last year the company recorded a 15% increase in revenues compared to the previous year.
