Introducing M/Y FLYING DAGGER II/ (ASTON 50)
Rossinavi launched the fully custom designed yacht Aston 50 / MY Flying Dagger II
(FR036) on 21st April in Viareggio, Italy. The project has been commissioned by a private client. With exterior by Venice-based Enrico Gobbi of Team4 Design, the robust silhouette of this vessel is marked by sporty lines in a fully aluminium structure.
MY Flying Dagger II, when Design meet architecture:
Sports and sleek exterior lines. The interior layout is minimal but with accurate architectural details. The interior design of this project has been realised with the idea of feeling the water from every corner of the boat.
MY Flying Dagger II is also the latest research development on noise and vibration reduction; even if this is a water jet boat, the noise and sound propagation performance can be compared with a full displacement one. Both natural and artificial light of the boat have been one of the focus of this design project. MY Flying Dagger II is a boat meant to be fast; top speed up to 31 knots and a cruise speed of 24 knots. This boat is incredibly versatile being perfect for long cruise navigations or for shorter trips.
The main salon features three large glass floor to ceiling doors to enjoy the view of the sea but also allowing the space to transform into an al fresco dining area.
The master bedroom is also a particular large area of the boat featuring a structural terrace accessible through sliding glass doors.
The shallow draft, the water jet propulsion and the air-conditioned engine room enable this boat to perform at the best in the Caribbean warm water surround.
Four spacious external decks across three floors allow for entertaining, dining and relaxing. Along the main deck, a sprawling sundeck features a metallic and woven metal canopy that opens and closes to provide or protect from light.
