Gulf Craft’s Sensational Line-up
Gulf Craft’s Sensational Line-up of Luxury Yachts Makes a Splash at the Singapore Yacht Show
Visitors of the Singapore Yacht Show lined up to experience Gulf Craft’s largest superyacht it has ever brought to the region, the Majesty 105, and the latest innovation, the oceangoing Nomad 65, in an impressive display to show the manufacturer’s range of leisure crafts.
With more than 20 years serving the boating needs of its South East Asian customers, Gulf Craft’s display at the Singapore Yacht Show, which runs until 26 April at the One°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove, demonstrates its unwavering commitment to the region.
“The Singapore Yacht Show allows us to showcase our latest innovations among some of the world’s most prestigious luxury lifestyle brands,” said Erwin Bamps, CEO of Gulf Craft. “Such events are of great importance to us, as they enable us to meet existing and prospective customers from the region and listen to their boating aspirations. It is their insights that work as the motivation behind our creations.”
Home to some of the world’s most beautiful waterfront destinations, South East Asian countries are continuing to experience growth in wealth. According to the 2013-2014 Wealth-X World Ultra Wealth Report, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam all saw their population of ultra-high net worth individuals (UNWHI) grow over the past year. Singapore continues to take the lead in terms of total UHNW wealth at USD 180 billion, followed by Thailand at USD 135 billion, and Indonesia at USD 130 billion.
Debuting the Nomad Yachts range for the first time in the region, Gulf Craft designed the collection keeping in mind boat enthusiasts from the South East Asian market, allowing those with an appetite for long-range sea travel to explore the region’s countless islands with their guests, or to go on a cruise alongside the picturesque coastlines.
Guests at the Singapore Yacht Show had an opportunity to experience the Nomad 65, the first hybrid semi-displacement yacht by Gulf Craft built to be a luxurious yet powerful yacht. Engineered using the most sophisticated technology, the Nomad 65 enables seafarers to confidently sail the world’s waters from the luxury of their own yacht. It has an airy loft style apartment feel with white oak parquet flooring, marble counter tops, and cozy soft furnishings, and sofas crafted from high-end leather in the main saloon area.
Gulf Craft visitors also had an exciting opportunity to experience the Majesty 105, which is characterized by its extensive exterior space and luxurious interiors, including an elegantly designed main saloon and dining area. The main deck also offers breathtaking surrounding views through its intelligently designed large windows, which also allow ample natural sunlight to flow through the interior. With a spacious outdoor entertaining and lounging areas, the Majesty 105 is perfect superyacht for those who enjoy spending time admiring the coast while island-hopping, or to catch all the action moored alongside the waterfront.
Gulf Craft is also displaying its largely popular Majesty 48, a luxury full-option yacht ideal for families to comfortably entertain more than a dozen persons from its viewing decks, and even more inside the panoramic deck. The Majesty 48 has been designed expressly for leisure cruising, making it the perfect choice for those entry yacht owners who would like to easily manage the fly-bridge yacht on their own.
“We understand that everyone’s boating requirements are different — be it entertaining large groups, spending quality time with loved ones, or enjoying the region’s beautiful scenery – and our wide range of semi-custom luxury yachts and leisure boats meet the diverse requirements of all our South Asian market customers,” Bamps said.
To support its commitment to innovation in design, Gulf Craft is investing USD 100 million over the next five years in developing a world-class facility for the manufacturing of mega and superyachts at Dubai Maritime City.
